The sunlight of the day shined upon my face, my eyes soon being burdened with the buzzing liveliness of Zaban City. As I rubbed my eyes yearning to get rid of the tiredness that lingered from resting I let out a groan. The pain from last night throbbed on my bruised and bloodied skin. I had made the decision that I will become a hunter, it seemed like the best option overall, so I began my quest.
I gripped onto the bars of the back of the train, soon letting go, my skin meeting a new surface. Crackling of my bones could be heard as I bent my body, letting out sighs of relief. The warmness of my jean pocket engulfed my fingers as I slipped them in. As I began to wander around the city I once again received weird stares, but brushed them off nonchalantly. Not a long space of time had passed before I stumbled upon a map displayed to help me navigate my way through the place. I quickly changed course and approached the map where three others had rested themselves.
With no interest in creating conversation I simply didn't acknowledge their presence and scanned over the map. As I scanned the map intently looking for the information I needed, a boy with green spiky hair sprouted at my side.
"ma'am , are you okay?!" he shouted, drawing me out of my thoughts and frankly startling me a bit
The two others looked at me, their expressions changed when they looked at me. A feeling of awkwardness filled the atmosphere, almost forcing an answer out of me.
"I'm fine." I quickly responded monotone
Another boy with circle glasses soon spoke "well obviously you're not fine, here, let me patch you up"
He was about to open his suitcase, making me defensive. I looked at the blonde hair male and his expression was unwavering, he looked worried.
