A barefoot man triumphantly walked out onto the center of the floor, staring at our turned heads with a cocky smile as we discussed his opponent. As we talked Tonpa spoke, volunteering to be an opponent. We looked at him, surprised looks covering our faces.
"You know, maybe you aren't so bad" Leorio said with a grin plastered on his face.
Tonpa giggled, walking on the beam to the center to greet his opponent. The two got into their stances, prepared to fight. As time was not wanted to be wasted the fight began, the opponent lunging at Tonpa, all the furious aura engulfing the man left quicker than it came, as he admitted defeat. Silence took over the room, everyone sweat-dropping at the quick ending of the match. The man walked back with defeat, meeting Leorio's furious face.
"What the hell was that?!" He screamed, pulling Tonpa by his collar once again
"Sorry," he muttered, "he was a lot scarier up close.."
"You're just messing with us!" Leorio replied, to which Tonpa smiled
"You finally caught on, you see i fail year after year just to torment rookies like you five" Tonpa exclaimed before getting shoved by the angry man
After the bickering had ended the next prisoner stepped onto the platform, a skinny boy with grease in his hair, he looked like he could be from where I was. Gon offered and went, versing the boy. A worried expression creased my eyebrows, although he was small and skinny, looks can be deceiving. Candles were pulled out, Gon given his chosen one while the boy kept the other. Gon's burned faster, obviously tainted with, luckily he outsmarted the boy and blew out his candle. "Good job Gon!" i cheered as he trotted back, high fiving him
"Thanks Y/N!" Gon replied with a abnormally large grin stretching his face
The rest said the same, giving their praise. Next was Kurapika with a non-human looking man, the man showed Kurapika a tattoo of a spider from the phantom troupe making him lose his cool and knock him out. Kurapika then explained how his tattoo was a fake as it didn't have a number assigned. He soon calmly walked to a corner, his gloomy aura giving away his fake facade. Leorio began to scream at the Kurta to finish the match but he declined to which he screamed more.
