And we did. Two months later we moved into a little white and seafoam green rv. We adopted a Pitbull and named her Sunny, after all she acted just like my sister. Lucifer took up the name Luce in public and even started to work on cars in the local shop, just for fun.

I spent my days at the parks with Sunny, who shockingly started to train herself to know when I felt dizzy or in pain. She would howl when I got dizzy, startling me enough to find my chair and sit down. If I was in pain or passed out, she would bark, lay down, and nudge me. Honestly, she was the best kind of child.

On nice summers my siblings would come down with their partners and swimsuits and we would all visit the lakes and public pool, even if I couldn't swim, I could always watch my husband be an absolute dork with Aaron. While Sunny and Jace, the police chief, and Eli all stood to the sides of the pools watching the youngest two of the group chaise our pup round when she would jump in.

Oh right, yeah, I married Lucifer. It was a small wedding in our little town a few months after we moved. Small and calm, just how we grew to like it. And right now, we are even thinking of adopting again, well this time a human child. But hey, that's for another time.
