Niall's POV

I was video chatting with Ashley when Zayn called me.

"Niall you might want to see this." He said.

"Okay I have to go I love you." I said to Ashley.

"I love you too." Ashley said.

We ended the call.

"What?" I asked.

"Look at this news report." Zayn said.

"It appears that Ashley Holden's career has been going down hill ever since she confirmed she is dating Niall Horan from One Direction. She has gotten mobbed by insane directioners four times already. Have directioners started to hate her after she stole Niall from them?"

It's been a month now since we left for our European tour. Ashley is now in the states performing.

"That's the biggest load of bullshit I've ever heard." Louis said.

"Ya don't listen to it Niall." Harry said.

"Has she gotten mobbed?" Liam asked me.

"Well ya she told me that a couple of crazy fans mobbed her. But she didn't say they were directioners." I said.

"They probably just needed a story." Harry said.

"But it is true that once we confirmed we were dating sales for her tickets have gone down." I told them.

"That's so stupid. I doubt it's that mate. It's probably because its not both of us performing." Louis said.

"She has been getting a lot of hate. And Mr. Star says he's going to cancel her European tour." I said.

I know this is all my fault. If it hadn't been for me none of those things would not have happened. I'm holding her back on her career.

"No it's not because of you mate, stop blaming yourself." Zayn said.

"I'm just going to go get something to eat." I told them.

It was great to be in Florida! It was so warm and beautiful! Catarina has already gone back to school. Niall's birthday is coming up in a week. I'm so excited! I already got him a gift. I hope he likes it.

One week later

Niall's POV

I woke up in Mullingar, like I do on my birthday every year. I'm really excited since Ashley is coming here. It's going to be the first time she meets my family. I think she's really nervous about it. She has nothing to worry about though, my parents will love her!

As soon as I got up I drove to the airport.

"Niall!" Ashley screamed.

She left her stuff behind and ran to my arms.

"I've missed you so much." I told her not letting her go.

I was so happy that I was able to feel one of her warm hugs again. I kissed her.

"Happy birthday." She said.

I kissed her again.

"Thanks." I said.
