Ashley's POV

.

I woke up the next day, with Bella, my new dog, licking my face. Yesterday was the best day of my life. I got out of bed and it was already 11 o'clock. Shit. I was supposed to meet Niall for coffee at 10. I texted him telling him I was sorry for missing our date. He said it was fine. I went downstairs to the kitchen. My parents were fighting.

"I can't believe she went behind our backs to get a recording contract! She knows how I feel about show business!" I heard my dad screaming.

Shit. I don't like it when my parents fight. Especially when it's about something I did. How did they find out?

"It's her life and her decision on what to do with it! If she wants to be a singer than so be it! I bet you haven't even heard her sing! She's really good! She can make it in this business!" My mom countered.

"Ahem." I said

"Oh sorry honey, you're father and I are having a little disagreement." My mom said

"Why did you give them you're demo without asking us?" My dad said very angrily.

"It wasn't me it was Niall! And I bet..." I started to say

My dad interrupted me, "That boy! I knew he was trouble! He should have asked our permission first!"

"Dad! It's not you're decision! It's mine!" I screamed

"Can you guys stop it! Now let's talk about this rationally!" My mom said.

"Okay." My dad said looking embarrassed.

"How did you guys know about this?" I asked

"Well, Mr. Star called this morning telling us everything. How he heard you're demo, and how he loves you're voice. He said you have a lot of potential. He would like to have a recording contract with you." My mom said

"But sweetheart, do you really want to do this? I mean it will change you're life forever. You won't go to school anymore, you'll be homeschooled. You'll have a lot of pressure and you'll be stressed out. It's a lot for a 16 I mean 17 year old to take in." My dad said

"But dad this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Could I really blow it off? This has been dream since I was little. I want this more than anything, and now I have it." I said

"Okay we'll talk to Mr. Star and look at the contract. If we don't agree with his terms, then we'll say no." My mom said.

"Thank you! You're the best parents in the world!" I ran up and hugged them

I ran upstairs to my room. Bella was in there sleeping on my bed. I woke her up, gave her some food, and I walked Bella over to Niall's hotel. The workers didn't want me to bring her into the hotel, but the manager knew me as Niall's friend so she let me in. I went up to his room. I knocked on his door. He opened it. I asked,

"Do you want to go on a walk with us?"

"Sure," Niall said petting Bella. "Let me get my jacket."

He got his jacket and we went downstairs. I thanked the manager for letting me take Bella in and we started to walk. I told him what my parents said about the contract (besides the screaming part).

"Great! When are you're parents going to talk to him?" He asked

"I think tomorrow." I told him

"If they don't like the contract then I can have him change it." Niall said

"Thanks." I said

We walked in silence for a while. Niall was about to say something, but two girls ran up to him.

"Omg! You're Niall freaking Horan!! I love you!" One of them said.

"Can we have you're picture?" The other one asked

"Ya of course." He said

They gave me their phone to take the picture. It was really uncomfortable for me. I took the picture. Then one of them took the phone and as soon as she had the phone ready to take a picture the other girl kissed Niall! Then they both ran away.

"What just happened?" Niall asked me

"I have no idea!" I said

Niall's POV

.

I can't believe that girl just did that! And especially in front of Ashley! I know they probably thought she was my cousin or something, but still! I'm not sure if she's jealous or not I can't tell. She probably isn't, she isn't like that type of girl. This will be all over the internet! Great more rumors to be started.

"Let's keep walking." Ashley said

"Okay." I said.

We walked a little longer than turned back. I said,

"Ashley, do you want to right another song together?"

"Yes of course! I really liked our last song! That should be one of my singles." She said

"Okay well we should make sure that you're parents are okay with the contract first." I told her

"Ya I really think the first song we wrote, Why I Love You, we should make it a duet like we sang it when we first wrote it." Ashley said

"That's a great idea! But it should you're second or third single. If its you're first single than people will only think of me when the song comes on the radio or something. Because you know I'm already famous." I said

"That's an even better idea! That'll be my second single so when it comes out people will think of me and you instead of just you. Like oh Niall came out with a single with some random girl singing with him" She said.

"They wouldn't think that, but you should come out with one or two more singles until we come out with Why I Love You." I said

Just them we heard some screams coming from behind us. Crap. Fans. We both started to run. Bella was funny when she ran since she tried to bight the leash the whole time. We ran into the hotel, just before the fans could see where we went. They kept running the same direction. Ashley said,

"That was close."

"Ya we should be more careful." I said.

"Well I should get going, I'll see you later." Ashley said

"Bye" I said

Ashley's POV

.

When I was walking home Catarina texted me. She said "read this now!!!" She sent me a link. The link went to some girls twitter, the girl that kissed Niall! She posted the picture of her kissing Niall on her wall saying "here's my new boyfriend Niall James Horan, none of you can have him now!" Oh no she didn't! I sent the link to Niall.

He texted back saying, "oh no, rumors will start." I texted him back saying that everything will be fine and not to worry. It was just some dumb girl joking around, how bad could it be?
