Zuko screams swallow up any chance for me to gloat to the crowds. Spectators spill past me into the arena, rushing to the Firelord's aid. I turn to see Zuko crippled on his side, folded in half with the pain. Surely it couldn't haven't been that bad? Still, I couldn't believe the Firelord be such a sore loser to fake somthing this dramatic...
The Angi Kai's officiators were too busy fussing over the Firelord to even acknowledge my victory,  I opened my mouth to hurl my objections at them but just as I did so, my vision gave vicious yank downards as i doubled-over. The world spun as I hurled my guts up, vomiting all  over the white snow.

My vision still swimming, I looked up to watch the unfoiling scene,  Nobody came over to check if I was okay. They were all still too concerned with the Firelord. His uncle, Councilor had been by Zuko side in seconds, kneeling to cradle Zuko's head in his hands. That was the moment I realised Zuko wasn't faking.

Iroh swept back clumps of Zuko's sweat mopped hair from his face as Arnook loomed over them both. Zuko's skin was no longer green but ashen gray and when his golden eyes caugh the light i could see they were pressed back to whites in near delirious pain. Something was wrong. Very wrong. Iron was trying to talk to him, but Zuko wasn't listening. How could he? When he was riving like a wild animal caught in a snare. Zuko's screams were raw and viceral. Something about them made my insides twist even more than being sick.

As i deduced, I hadn't just hit a weak spot with Zuko's scar, I'd reopened a trauma point. Most likely the trauma that had nearly killed him when his infamous sister struck him down with Lightening supercharged by Sozins commit. I'd just triggered his muscle memory to relapse. With the help from tribe men they managed to pin Zuko down just long enough to get what must have been some sort of sedative down his throat. As Zuko spams subside and they were able to lift him onto a stretcher. Iroh follows closely after Zuko, with my uncle and the rest of the crowd filing out behind untill I was left standing alone in the arena.
