"WAKE THE HELL UP!!!"
My eyes snapped open. Yoriichi's body was in front of me, his neck slit open.
My heart dropped.
"What?! No...but he's..."
"Y/N...GET UP!!!!" Sanemi dragged me away from Yoriichi.
"But he's supposed to...I was...there-"
"Y/N. You passed out as soon as you saw him cut his neck." Sanemi said.
I touched my face, then looked at my hands.
Blood. Just as I expected.
And my bandage was still on too.
"So ALL of that...was just a dream...?" I whispered, my eyes tearing up.
Sanemi crouched beside me and looked at me, putting his hands on my shoulders.
"Y/N. You're just suffering from shock." He said.
"Alright, so what happened here?"
A bunch of policemen crowded around us.
"This man murdered someone, then killed himself afterwards." Sanemi said, pointing to Yoriichi's body.
"Right...what a mess."
"Hey! I'm sure that's Tsugikuni Yoriichi...so he faked his death before?"
"Well, what a shame. He's dead for good now."
One of the policemen looked directly at me.
"What's with that blood on your face?" He said, glaring at me.
"His blood...went on...me..." I cried.
"Alright. Ma'am, we'll have to take you to the police station for further questioning." He said.
"Hey! But she just witnessed the death of 2 people! Come on officer, give her some time to-"
The policeman grabbed me, while another one put my arms behind and handcuffed me.
"I didn't do anything...I DIDN'T!!!" I yelled.
"We'll see about that." The policeman said, dragging me by the elbow.
I went forward and bit his arm.
"HEY!!! RESTRAIN HER!!" The policeman yelled.
I continued biting him, anger flowing through my veins.
I lifted my head back, while a piece of his flesh ripped off.
It tasted extremely bitter. How the hell can demons consume flesh so easily?
The policeman screamed.
"SHE'S A MONSTER!!" He yelled.
The other policeman pinned me onto the ground. One put duct tape over my mouth to stop me from attacking again.
"Hey...hey...let her go...she did nothing wrong!!!" I heard Mitsuri scream.
"She just attacked an officer. Does that seem normal to you?" A policeman said.
"Take her away." He said.
While I was being dragged away, one of my earrings fell off.
"MMH!! MMH!!"
There's no use. My voice is too muffled.
I kicked my legs, desperately trying to alert the policemen.
