"Tanjiro!!"

I ran towards the door.

"Rengoku...where did you find him?" Yoriichi said.

"Well, you see, I usually help Tanjiro with his homework. I see him as a younger brother, I suppose. I went to his house to help him with his maths homework...and..."

Rengoku has tears in his eyes.

"...I went upstairs...found him laying there, unconscious. Nezuko was next to him. Her neck was slit open-"

"NO!!! Don't go into detail...please..." I yelled.

"I'm sorry...really sorry. I just had to mention it." Rengoku said.

"Not cool, Kyojuro. No need to traumatise Y/N like that." Hakuji said.

Rengoku gave a sigh.

"Place him on the couch. I'll check his heart rate." Yoriichi said.

"And Y/N, why don't you go freshen up? Have a nice shower or something to help you relax." He looked at me.

"Yeah, I suppose." I said.

"Don't worry. I'm sure Tanjiro's fine." Yoriichi gave me a reassuring smile.

I heard a knock on the door.

"It's been 30 minutes, Y/N. Is everything alright?"

It was Yoriichi.

I wanted to speak, but I couldn't.

I suddenly felt as though someone was watching me.

Muzan's presence?

No. I must be imagining things.

"You're not imagining anything, Y/N."

I jumped at the sudden voice. I looked around the room.

There was no one there.

Suddenly, Muzan sprung out from the middle of the bathtub and looked down at me.

"Look at you. You're beautiful." Muzan said, gazing into my eyes.

My eyes widened.

Is he really here with me?

But how?

He was about to lean in for a kiss, but then paused. He eyes darted towards my neck.

"What is it?" I said.

He moved my hair back.

"Hm. The wound hasn't healed yet." He said.

"What wound?" I said.

"The bite mark that Douma gave you." Muzan said.

"What bite mark?!" I yelled.

"Y/N!! Who are you talking to?" Yoriichi yelled.

"It's Muzan! He's here with me!" I yelled back.

"WHAT?!"

Yoriichi opened the door with no hesitation.

"Where is he?!" Yoriichi said, angrily.

"He's right-"

I looked infront of me. Muzan was gone.

"But he was...here..."

"Y/N..." Yoriichi closed the door. He approached me and put his hand on my head.
