I slowly opened my eyes, Muzan was laying beside me, fast asleep.

I slowly got out of bed. My eyes felt extremely sore, probably because of how much I cried.

I decided not to go to school today. I'm not sure when Yoriichi's funeral will take place either.

I felt a pair of hands wrap around my waist and push me back.

"I won't go to school today either." Muzan said.

He's up already?

"I was awake as soon as you were." He said.

I put the TV on while eating cereal.

"You're watching the news again?" Muzan said.

"There's nothing else that's interesting." I said.

"Hm." Muzan said, sitting beside me.

"Now, for some more breaking news. A few days ago, a family was murdered in their home. After a police investigation that was carried out today, we have managed to identify the suspect."

"Hey, Muzan! That's my home...!" I said.

Muzan remained silent.

"Police managed to retrieve a katana stained with blood from one of the rooms in the house. The fingers on the katana matched-"

Muzan turned the TV off.

"Enough of that shit." Muzan said.

"But they were going to tell us who killed my family!" I yelled.

Is he serious right now?

"I already know who it is." Muzan said.

"Who?" I looked at him.

Muzan shrugged.

"He's dead anyways." He said.

I clenched my fist.

"You know what, I'll go to the police myself." I said, getting up.

"No, you won't." Muzan said, grabbing my hand.

"Then just tell me who it is." I said, looking at him angrily.

He came closer to me.

"Your beloved Yoriichi killed your family." He whispered in my ear.

No. He has to be lying.

"I'm not lying. You know what, I'll come with you and we can go to the police station together." He said.

I felt tears in my eyes.

"I hope you're lying. This doesn't seem right at all!" I yelled.

Muzan held my hand and dragged me along with him.

"We're going to the police right away." He said.

"Ah, you and Tanjiro Kamado were both the only survivors." Said the policeman.
