"Again? What do you mean by that?!" I said.

Yoriichi sighed, looking at Muzan.

"Your name is Muzan, right?" Yoriichi said.

Muzan glared at him.

"Yes." He said, coldly.

Yoriichi turned to face me.

"You see, Muzan actually went to my school before transferring here." Yoriichi said.

"I thought you said you didn't know him? Or any of these guys?" I said.

"Well, I just suddenly managed to remember." Yoriichi smiled.

He paused.

"Back at my school, Muzan caused a lot of trouble." He said.

"Trouble? What kind of trouble?" I said, in shock.

"He's a delinquent." Yoriichi said. "He always acted like he was the King of the school. He made people echo his name, beat them up if they dare crossed his limit. Funnily enough, he had no influence on me at all and I didn't bother remembering his name."

Then why does Muzan seem so anxious about Yoriichi's presence?

Muzan's eyes quickly darted towards me. He made full eye contact before looking away.

Yoriichi looked at the others.

"That reminds me, you all went to the same school too, right? I remember now. You were a part of his gang." He said.

Hakuji and Douma exchanged looks with eachother.

"Yeah. That's right." Hakuji said.

"Hm. Okay." Yoriichi said.

Yoriichi held my hand and walked, taking me with him.

"H-hey! Where are we goi-"

"Y/N. You shouldn't hang around with them." Yoriichi said.

I looked at him in shock.

"Why not? Delinquents or not, they seem really nice! Besides, are you really sure they are delinquents in the first place? They don't seem like it!" I said.

Yoriichi stopped and turned his head.

"You can't trust anyone nowadays." He said.

He looked into my eyes.

"Not even the ones you're closest with."

During class, there was one question that lingered in my mind.

If Muzan's father is the Principal, then how the hell is Muzan getting away with being a delinquent?

It doesn't make any sense.

Who even is this guy?

I slowly turned my head to look at Muzan, who was busy writing. For the first time, I began admiring his looks.

His soft, curly black hair. I wonder what hair conditioner he uses.

His deep red, piercing eyes. Are they contacts, perhaps?

That perfect jawline. Strikingly beautiful.

Am I falling for him?

Maybe.

Muzan gave a small smirk, as if he was able to hear my thoughts.

He suddenly faced me.

"You've been staring at me for a while now, what's up?" Muzan said.

I immediately turned away and buried my face on the table in embarrassment.

"Y/N..."

I lifted my head up and saw Muzan looking at me. His cheeks were red.

He lifted his hand and touched my cheek.

"You're so pretty...Y/N..."

He moved his hand onto my chin and leaned forward, kissing me.

"Mmh..." He mumbled.

My cheeks began burning up.

What the hell is going on?! All of a sudden?!

And why is no one saying anything?

Muzan parted from the kiss. He looked at me, giving me a smile.

"Y/N...you should...be..."

"...Y/N..."

"Y/N!"

Huh?!

"Y/N! You need to stop sleeping in class!"

"Huh?! Oh...sorry...my bad!" I mumbled.

My teacher sighed, then continued writing algebraic equations on the board.

How did I manage to fall asleep so quickly?

I looked around the class. Everyone was busy writing.

I looked at Muzan, who was also writing. He caught me staring at him.

"What do you want?" He said, coldly.

"N-nothing. Sorry." I said, turning away in fear.

Damn. Maybe Yoriichi was right.

Muzan picked up his pen and began twirling it around his fingers.

He suddenly stopped and slammed it on the table, then looked at me.

"What's it with you and Yoriichi?" Muzan said, angrily.

I sighed.

"Why do you ask?" I said.

"He's not...related to you, right?" Muzan said.

"He's just a close childhood friend. Don't get the wrong idea." I said.

Muzan gave a sigh of relief.

"Good. That's excellent." He said.

"Why do you seem so relieved?" I said.

Muzan shot a glance at me.

"It just means that I have one less thing to worry about." He said.
