(Y/N's POV)

It was the day before the Yule ball and I still didn't have a dress to wear. We were currently at Hogsmeade looking for dresses to buy.

"Ooh, how about this?" Amelia asked me, taking a dress from one of the hangers. It was a long dark blue dress with little dots of silver around it.

"Hm, it's okay." I replied, not interested, as I continued to look around the store.

"You've said that for the last ten dresses I showed you." Amelia complained, putting the dress back in its place.

"This store doesn't really have good options." I told her.

"Can we take a break then? It's been almost an hour." She said.

"Fine." I replied, as we headed out of the store.

As we were leaving the store, we saw Leo, Thomas, and Charlie walking the same direction as us. I noticed Amelia started walking over to them.

"Amelia, what are you doing?" I questioned, widening my eyes.

"I need to tell Leo something." She shrugged, grabbing my hand and pulling me over there with her.

"Hey guys." She said to them. "Leo, have you gotten your suit for the ball yet."

I noticed Thomas was staring at me and I immediately wanted to get out of there.

"Yes, babe, I did." Leo assured Amelia.

"Babe?" I questioned, looking at Leo.

"What, I can't call my girlfriend babe?" He asked me.

"Girlfriend? When did this happen?" I asked, confusedly. Amelia never told me they were fully together.

"It's not official." Amelia whispered in my ear. They started talking about something else while I stood there awkwardly with Thomas and Charlie.

"I heard you're going with Draco to the ball." Thomas said to me, "I wish I could say I'm surprised."

"At least he didn't poison me with amortentia." I rolled my eyes. I walked over to Amelia telling her I was gonna go find Draco.

When I was walking, I found another dress store and I decided to take a look. I entered and a blonde salesclerk came up to me, "Is there anything I can help you look for?" She asked me.

"Actually, yes, there is. I'm looking for a dress for the yule ball." I told her.

"Okay, is there any specific color you want?"

"Maybe, green?" I said.

"Are you a Slytherin?" She questioned, as I followed her to the other side of the store.

"Yes, I am." I replied.

"So was I." She smiled, as we stopped near the green section. "Here's a lovely selection of green dresses that I think you might like. Let me know if you need anything else."

"Great, thank you." I smiled back at her.

Some of the dresses were a light green but I was able to find one that was the perfect shade of dark green. It was a very long silk dress with shoulder split sleeves, it had to be one of my favorites. I knew it was the perfect one so I decided to buy it.

"That's a lovely one." The lady told me as I placed it on the checkout counter.

"I know right." I told her. Once I finished paying, I thanked the lady and left the store. It was already starting to get dark so I decided to head back to the castle.
