It had been a few days and not much had happened. I had been hanging out with Ginny, playing quidditch, cleaning, pretty much the same thing almost every day. But, today was the day I finally got to go to Draco's manor. He had been owling me everyday telling me how excited his mom was, and I was getting pretty excited too.
Thomas had been owling me the whole week as well about our plan regarding Amelia and Leo, but I had to put it off to the side for now so I could get ready for Draco's. I was also getting kind of nervous though. It seemed like his father hated me because I was a Potter. I met him once with Harry and the Weasley's and he didn't seem too fond of me... I just hope I can at least get on his mom's good side so both of his parents don't hate me.
I had already picked out my outfit and I had gone downstairs to have some breakfast. Mrs. Weasley had made pancakes today, which was one of my favorite breakfast foods. Eventually, once I got down there I sat at the table and everyone else was all there as well.
"What are your plans for today, Y/n?" Mrs. Weasley asked me, while I got a plate and started adding some pancakes onto it.
"Well, today I was planning on going over to my friend's house, if that is alright with you?" I said, completely remembering I forgot to ask for her permission.
"That's alright darling, you don't need to ask for my permission." She said, as I smiled at her.
"What friend?" Harry asked, from across the table. Why does he care?
"Oh um, just an old friend." I told him. I was obviously not gonna tell him it was Draco.
"Which is?" He asked.
"Amelia." I told him abruptly. When I did, Ginny looked at me from where she was sitting. She gave me a look that showed me that she knew I was lying. I raised my eyebrows at her, signaling her not to say anything.
Eventually, we all finished eating and we went back to our rooms.
"You're going to Draco's, aren't you?" Ginny said, as I entered her room. When she did, I immediately closed the doors hoping no one had heard that.
"Yes, but you can't tell anyone." I said, looking straight at her.
"You don't want to be friends with him Y/n." She said, and I just rolled my eyes.
"Why? Because he said some rude thing once or twice and now all of a sudden he's a bad guy?" I asked, as I went to go get my wand and shoes.
"Well, that and the fact that he's a Malfoy. They aren't good people Y/n." She exclaimed.
"He's not as bad as he seems Ginny," I said. "I'll be back in a few, see you later."
I finally arrived to their manor and I then knocked on the door. I was waiting for a few minutes, but eventually someone had opened the door. A woman with beautiful blonde and black hair had opened the door.
"Hello, you must be y/n. Come on in." She said.
I then entered and it was huge. They had many frames on the walls, which were a brownish color but they had lots of pillars surrounding them.
"Hey y/n." Draco said, as he came out of the living room. "My mom's been waiting for about an hour at the door for you."
"Well don't be dramatic Draco. It's only been a few minutes." Mrs. Malfoy said, and we both laughed. "I'm Narcissa Malfoy, it's lovely to meet you. Draco has told me so much about you."
"I'm Y/n, it's lovely to meet you too." I said, and we both shook hands.
"I will be in the living room if you need anything." She said, then made made her way into a different room.
"This is huge, Draco." I said, as I looked around.
"I wouldn't call it huge, but it's okay." He said, and I just rolled my eyes. I would die if I ever got to live in a house as big as this.
"Let's go to my room." Draco said, then I followed him upstairs. Once we got upstairs, there was a lot of rooms and some looked like they were empty. They might've had about fifty, but all I know is that it was too much to count.
We then went into his room and it seemed as if it was bigger than the living room.
"How do you get around this place?" I asked, shocked.
"Well I don't really need to, because of our house elves. They would've answered the door as well but, they are in the kitchen right now. Plus, my mom wanted to." He said.
We had been at his house for about a few hours, and he showed me around his whole house which took up most of the time.
We played a few games and he showed me many wizard items that I had never seen before. Probably because they had belonged to the Malfoy's only. He showed me outside and many of his brooms. I suggested we play quidditch and he agreed.
It was a pretty short game though, because we only had two people. But, I had beat him considering the fact that the score was 230-40. I had been the one that found the snitch, but I also scored many points as well. We obviously weren't really following the actual rules of quidditch, since it was hard with only two people.
Then it was eventually time for dinner. We both went downstairs and his mom and his dad were waiting for us at the dinner table.
"What took you so long Draco." Lucius Malfoy said.
"Oh I was just showing Y/n around." Draco replied, and we both sat down.
"Oh right, I forgot you were here." He said, with a weird look on his face.
"She has a name." Draco said, looking at his father. Lucius then ignored him and proceeded to add food onto his plate.
"So Y/n, what have you been up to this summer." Narcissa asked me.
"Well, not a lot, I've been staying at the Weasley's," When I said that, I could hear Lucius scoff. "We haven't done much but clean around the house, and mostly play quidditch."
"Oh, do you play on the team?" Narcissa asked.
"No, I don't. I'm not very good." I responded, then I could see Draco rolling his eyes, out of the corner of my eye.
"Oh come on, you're better than me. She's the best chaser I've ever seen." Draco said.
"Well, I guess I'm okay, I also like playing beater though." I said.
"Why don't you try out?" Narcissa suggested.
"I would, but I'm pretty sure Marcus has something against me." I said, referring to Marcus Flint who was the team captain. He had hated me ever since I got to Hogwarts, all because I was a Potter.
"I'm sure Draco could try talking to him. We are really good friends with the Flint's, right Lucius?" Narcissa said, turning to Lucius.
"Yes." Lucius bluntly responded.
"How about this, Draco talks to Marcus and then you go and try out for the team?" She insisted, and I didn't want to say no, so I just nodded my head.
"Sure, that sounds like a great idea." I said.
It then had gotten quiet, up until I had reached for one of the plates and my hand accidentally knocked over Lucius's drink onto his clothes.
"I am so sorry." I said, getting up to go find a towel. Great, this is just what I needed right now.
"Such a disappointment," He said, and then I heard him mumble under his breath. "Just like your parents."
"I think it's time you leave." He said, as he got up from his chair.
"But-" Draco had started, but Lucius interrupted him by saying.
"No, Y/n will be leaving." He said, signaling to the door.
I then got up and headed towards the door, Draco followed me but his father pulled him back.
"I'm sorry again." I said, then went out the door.
