Since Draco had apologized, I had decided to follow our deal and go sit with him. He was sitting with all of his other Slytherin friends, then made some room when he saw me coming to sit with him.

"I didn't think you would actually sit here." He said, as I sat down next to him.

"Yeah, well unlike you, I keep my promises." I replied, then grabbed some toast.

We had eventually been talking for a while, and I was actually having a good time but then Thomas entered the Great Hall and came over to where I was sitting.

"Hey y/n." He said, as he made a face to Draco, who he saw was sitting next to me.

"Hey, what's up?" I responded, kind of giving him a face as to why he was here.

"Oh, I was gonna see if you wanted to sit with us?" He said, and I didn't know what to say. I had already told him that I was going to sit with Draco for a while but I guess he still didn't care.

"Um, maybe another day if that's okay?" I responded, trying not to sound too mean.

"Oh...ok, yeah sure." He sighed, and then left with a weird look on his face.

I felt bad not sitting with him, but at the same time I didn't want to make Draco mad again.

Eventually we had finished eating and it was time for class. Of course the next class I had next was with Thomas so I was not excited to see what was gonna happen.

I was walking down the hall to my next class, Potions, with Draco and a few other Slytherins when all of a sudden Thomas comes running out of nowhere. Right when I was about to open the door, he comes and opens it for me.

"Oh, um thanks Tommy." I said, though he never liked when I called him Tommy because he used to get made fun of when someone called him that when he was younger.

"How many times do I have to tell yo-" He said, but then I interrupted him.

"No need, I'm still gonna call you that whether you like it or not." I smirked, then went to go sit down.

Amelia and Draco both sat down with me and we, basically just me and Amelia, took out our books for class.

"Okay, today we will be making a girding potion. Whether you are successful or not is your own decision. Here on the board I have written down all the ingredients you will need. I will be pairing you up in twos and each partner will decide who does what." Professor Snape said, and we all sighed knowing we weren't going to be paired up with each other.

"I really hope we get paired up together." Amelia told me.

"Same, but knowing Snape I doubt it." I replied, leaning back in my chair.

"Alright, Pansy you will be paired up with Hannah." Snape said.

"Amelia and Leo." I heard Amelia make somewhat of a squealing sound when he said that.

"Y/n and Owen." That wasn't so bad, I thought.

"Thomas and Draco." Uh oh.....

"What in the bloody-" Draco started, but eventually Thomas cut him off.

"Yeah I'm not excited either, you don't need to announce it." Thomas said, and Draco rolled his eyes.

"If you mess this up, then you will be dead by the time this class ends." Draco said, then they both walked off to their cauldron.

"Alright, this shouldn't be that hard right?" I told Owen, as he walked up to our cauldron.

"Yeah, we'll see about that." He said.

"Well, what if you go get the ingredients and I pour them in?" I suggested.

"Ok, sounds good." He said, then read the ingredients. "I'll go get the fairy wings."

He eventually came back with more than just the fairy wings but I decided it was fine so I just used what he brought.

I went to go check on Amelia and Leo, and I could see Leo trying to impress Amelia by pretending to actually know what he was doing. Obviously he didn't, everyone could see that, well everyone except for Amelia.

After that, they barely made any progress on their potion because next thing you know, Leo was trying his best to make Amelia laugh. Whether it was making a joke, or putting in the wrong potion. Either way, it seemed to be working because all I could hear was Amelia dying of laughter.

The potion had been going well for us at least, and it seemed like it was working because of what the instructions said. Then, all of a sudden we all heard a sudden explosion coming from the front of the room.

"Draco!! Where on the instructions does it say to add Salamander blood?" I heard Thomas yell loudly.

"Well, if you would've stopped talking then I would've been able to pay attention to the instructions, instead of hearing your bloody barking!" Draco replied.

Oh, great, this wasn't gonna end well.

"What is the matter with you two? How idiotic do you have to be to not follow the instructions. Now stop bickering before I take you both to the Headmaster's office." Professor Snape said to both of them, and I could see the disgusted look on Draco's face.

Eventually it had gone quiet again and we all got back to our potions. Owen and I were able to finish the potion perfectly, but according to Professor Snape it was "Okay, compared to the rest."

When class was finished I went over to Thomas and Draco's cauldron and it did not go too good for them.

"You guys did such a great job." I said, sarcastically.

"Yeah, well if Draco would've actually followed the instructions, then we would've gotten farther than that." He said, while pointing to their cauldron.

"It's not my fault you sound like my dying grandma." Draco replied. Then I dragged him out of there before Thomas could say anything else.
