The Rumor

The past few weeks have been a little weird for me because I've started to catch feelings for Draco Malfoy. Yes, I know that sounds ridiculous, but I don't know what to do. I hope he doesn't know because that could change our friendship if he doesn't feel the same. Anyways, aside from that, Harry's got his problems. There is some psycho murderer dude that's on the loose and he's trying to kill him. I haven't spoken to him that much since he's got his problems but what I do know is that he isn't taking it too well.

A few weeks later we found out that the murderer was seen in the castle so we had to take precautions. But Dumbledore decided it was a good idea to sleep in the Great Hall for the night. So that day I sat next to Draco and Amelia in the Great Hall, while we were guessing who we thought it was.

"What if it's one of my parents long lost enemy or something?" I said, obviously trying to make a joke out of the situation.

"Hey, are you okay?" Amelia asked, knowing that I was really worried about Harry.

"Yeah, I'm just worried about Harry," I replied.

"Well, I'm sure Dumbledore's got it under control." She replied reassuringly.

"Yeah, I guess your right," I said, after that a few minutes later Amelia fell asleep and then it was just me and Draco.

"Hey y/n are you awake?" Draco asked me.

"Yeah, I can't fall asleep. You?" I replied, looking around to see if everyone else was asleep.

"Same.." He said.

"I don't know why but I guess I'm just worried about Harry," I said as we both sat up.

"I'm sure Potter can handle himself." He said and I just laughed.

"Yeah but I mean it's some psycho that betrayed my parents so who knows what he'll do to Harry," I said.

"Well, what about you? Is he just coming after Potter?" He asked, looking kind of worried.

"I'm not sure but I mean if he was coming after Harry, he'll probably be coming after me too," I said, getting more worried with the thought that some murderer wanted to kill me.

"I'm sure you will be fine y/n if any murderer comes he'll have to go through me first." He said as we both laughed.

Eventually, we both fell asleep after talking the whole night and that didn't help with the feelings I have towards him, but I enjoyed talking with him because it made me forget about the murderer wandering loose in the castle.

"Oh look at them." "They look so cute together" I heard as I started to wake up, once I opened my eyes I saw Amelia and Miles and other Slytherins hovering over me and I was so confused until I looked at where I was laying. I had been lying down on top of Draco with his arm wrapped around me. I decided to wake him up for him to see for himself. Then we both got up quickly, I could see Draco's face getting red so I started to laugh.

"What a cute couple," Amelia said jokingly, as she knew about my crush on Draco.

"Haha, very funny," I said as I got up.

The rest of the day kinda went in a blur, but Amelia wouldn't stop going on and on about what had happened between me and Draco but I reassured her that it was nothing. Or was it?

"How many times do I have to tell you, it was nothing. He probably just accidentally fell asleep that way." I told Amelia as we were walking down the hall.

"No one 'accidentally' falls asleep that way y/n. He likes you." She replied while I rolled my eyes. Then all of a sudden I heard Draco come out of nowhere and ask, "Who likes you?" as he started walking next to me.
