SOCIAL EVENTS ON THE UPPER EAST SIDE were never simple, or mediocre. No, they were grand, with over-the-top decor and every socialite yearning for an invitation to the newest societal gathering or gala that was being held. It was a battle — all to see who was able to float above the violent waves that was the Upper East Side. However, annually, an event that appealed to the young girls of Constance Billard was looming closer, and the stakes of being invited to it was growing tighter and tighter as the days passed: Blair Waldorf's yearly sleepover.

It was a tradition at this point — some girls with jump for joy at the invite that was slid through their letterboxes, the rules and dress-code that would only be suitable in Blair's eyes, whilst others watched in envy as those chosen spent weeks gossiping over the sleepover. It was one of Ophelia's most enjoyable time of the year, being gifted the opportunity to have a look in to all the jealousy-filled, teenage girls, who would possibly never have the chance at experiencing a night crafted by the Waldorf's intricate and sly mind.

The blonde was never offered an invitation to the Waldorf girl's annual sleepover — it was a given that her and Blair would be partners in crime, just like normal, and find an immense amount of amusement in the brutality some girls would go to in the hopes Blair or Ophelia would notice them.

A part of Ophelia had presumed that Blair had thought it was time to leave the sleepovers in the past now, seeing as they were looming closer to their older teenage years, and perhaps it was time to focus on more significant parts of their lives, but, to her lack of surprise, Blair was just as adamant on making this sleepover just as brilliant as the last five ones. In spite of this, Ophelia had, stupidly, made some other plans for the night of the sleepover, which she doubted would go down well with the brunette once she'd found out about Ophelia's alter ideas for that night.
