Peeta, Katniss, and I all walk to the train that is going to take us to the Capitol.

Moments before this Katniss got to visit her family and now she has the pin that she gave to Prim.

We get seated as I just stare outside.

"We get to meet Haymitch! And he won! He can help us! " Peeta says in some sort of attempt to lighten the mood.

"Uh huh. Sure" Katniss says as Haymitch enters the train car drunk.

He literally gets more and says a few selfishly drunk things.

I glance at Peeta who just kinda looks away.

"I'm going to my room" Haymitch says as he leaves the train car.

"I'mma go talk to him" Peeta says getting up.

"No offense Peeta... But like he isn't even sober. He doesn't seem very nice at the moment" I say as he looks at me confused.

"Why would that offend me? "

"Cause you really want to talk to him and I'm saying it isn't the best idea at the moment"

"Well I'm gonna try to get advice"

He leaves as I look at Kat.

"You got an interesting taste in men" she says to me as I scoff.

"Nah" I say as she gets up.

"Come on. Let's go see what type of trouble he's getting himself into" she says as we head to Effie and Haymitch.

"What are you talking about? " Katniss asks Haymitch as I actually sit next to Effie.

"You know you might just win" Effie says as I sit down.

"No. I lack a lot of talents" I say as she shakes her head.

"No no. Your parents almost won when they were in the games. They both died by accidents though. Not being killed by another tribute" she says as I just kinda look away.

"So? I was really young when they were sent to the games. I didn't have time to learn their skills" I say as she looks at me.

"I love these games because it show the potential of people. I find the thrill in the suspense that they make. Work on getting some sponsors first. Then go from there" she says as I just nod slowly.

"Oh wow look at that! " I hear Peeta say. I blush at the sudden sound of his voice.

I turn to see him glancing excitingly out the window. We can see the Capitol.

We go into a tunnel and I walk over to him.

"Sucks to be poor sometimes" I say as he looks at me with a smile.

"But we can enjoy luxury for a small amount of time before the games"

He's always has been the type of person to find the light in dark times.

Suddenly the train pulls to the station and a bunch of sponsors are there.

I give a small wave and head back to Kat.

She stands up and just looks out the window.

Soon we get taken to get new outfits and someone says they are taking us to someone named Cinna.

Once we meet him he explains how he wants to get the sponsors to love us.

"Coal right? I got something fire based ready then. It's a great idea" he says as he looks at me.

"Woah. You have natural beauty. You may get sponsors from looks alone" he says as I blush a little at his words.

I feel embarrassed. I don't think of myself that way. So it's foreign when someone mentions my looks in a good way.

"Thank you" I say blankly as he nods.

"Got a special boy or girl at home? " he asks as I look at him.

"I like someone. I don't want to talk about it though"

He nods.

"That's quite alright. You don't need to"

We get the outfits and we meet up with Peeta.

"Now remember the flames won't hurt you" Cinna says as we nod.

The chariots head down the main roadway as we get on our chariot.

Within seconds we go through the door and our clothes catch fire.

Peeta actually tries to grab my hand but I pull back surprised.

I give him a look.

"The fans would love it" he says as he grabs my hand and holds it up in the air.

So many people cheer as Kat smiles a little.

After that we get shown our rooms.
