Our skin burns from the poisonous gas. The boils are all over our skin. I see Peeta get up from being near the water since he fell near the edge of it.

He gasps and yells for us.

"Y/n! Finnick! The water helps the boils!" Peeta yells as we go over.

We later ourselves with the water as I let out a sigh of relief.

"Do you hear that? " Finnick asks suddenly as I let out a sigh.

Fuck me. Well not you Finnick. Only Peeta can. Now if I was single and wanting to mingle that would be fine. But I must stay loyal to my man.

We get up from the water as we see this big monkey looking at us.

"I wanna pet it" I say as Peeta and Finnick look at me.

A few more monkeys appear.

"No petting them. I got a bad feeling about them" Finnick says as more appear.

"Shit. Run towards the main lake! " I yell as the monkeys bare their teeth and growl at us.

As a few lunge at us, Peeta hits one that came a little too close to me.

"Don't touch my fiance you fucking bitch" Peeta says as Finnick picks me up.

"Hey now-" I go to say as Peeta and Finnick bolt to the beach.

I use my bow and arrows as I launch arrows at the monkeys.

A few get injured as we reach the beach.

Monkeys suddenly get smashed against some clear force field as I noticed we are safe.

Finnick sets me down as Peeta hugs me.

"Woman I'm never letting you pet a fucking monkey" Peeta says as he also pulls me into a kiss.

After a few minutes Finnick clears his throat and I look at him.

I reach up and pet him on the head as he gasps.

"Are you calling me a monkey!? " Finnick exclaims as we hear a voice.

We turn and see Johanna, Beetee, and Wiress.

I smile as they walk over. Even if they were covered in blood.

"Morning" I say as Johanna snorts.

"Blood rained onto us. It was so hard to see. I got hurt so many times. Now Wiress is in a deep shock state over there" Johanna says as I nod.

"You teamed with them? " Peeta asks as she smirks and laughs a little.

"Y/n wanted them as allies. So I kept them alive. Besides. More people who want to help ya, the better. And with our situation, we might as well also try to get all of us to escape" Johanna says with a grin.

She's right. Beetee and Wiress knows stuff about this place that we may have not even picked up on yet.

Wiress seems to be saying tick and tock over and over again.

I blink and look at the lake. It's like a clock. Twelve portions of water, separated by twelve barriers. Meaning this is like a clock.

"Shit Wiress! Your a genius! Guys this is laid out like a clock! Look at the set up! " I say as the others walk over.

"Didn't that structure produce lightening last night? " Peeta asks as I smirk.

"Each hour, according to the portion, another trap happens" I say as water splashed in from another portion.

"So we had monkeys, blood, gas, and that water? " Finnick asks.

"Yup" I say as I hear some sort of yell.

"Y/n! "

It sounds like Rue.

"R-Rue...? " I ask quietly as I run into the woods, towards the voice.

"No wait Y/n! " Johanna yells as Finnick puts an arm over her.
