-So you didn't tell him?- Asked Val over the phone. I walked into my room and threw my book bag on the floor and immediately flopped onto the bed. -No.-

I had spent all day at uni and could feel every bone in my body aching. I laid there with my eyes closed. -I don't think I'm going to tell him.-

-I can't keep up with you, Sara.- Said Val jokingly.

-I mean, I shouldn't ... not after the little stunt Pedri pulled at Sira's celebration.-

-Joder, but he's right. You wanted him to just be there by himself when everyone else had a date? Sitting around like a lost puppy waiting for you?-

I rolled my eyes. -Are you my friend or his?- I heard Val grunting on the other end of the call.

Before Bal could say anything else I smiled as I saw Gavi's picture pop up on my phone screen.

-Val, Gavi is calling. I'll talk to you later.- I ended the call with Val and answered Gavi's.

-Hola.- I smiled into the phone.

-Hola bonita, how are you?- I could feel my cheeks burning just hearing his voice.

We hadn't seen each other since Sira's birthday celebration. He had been busy with practice and I had exams at uni. For the past few days I had tried to focus on school and put everything with Pedri behind.

-I need to see you.- Whispered Gavi into the phone. I looked at the time. -It's late. My parents won't let me go out now.- He laughed. -You're an adult, sneak out.-

I laughed into the phone. Gavi always made me feel fearless. Twenty minutes later I was outside of my front door in jeans and a hoodie waiting for Gavi's car to pull up. I walked closer to the street as I saw the lights from the car approach and once he stopped I quickly got in. I turned my head to look at him and he greeted me with a soft kiss.

-I missed you.- He said. I smiled at him. -It's only been two days.- I joked.

Gavi drove us towards an area in the city that overlooked Barcelona. We got out of the car in an area with just one street light and carefully walked up to a grassy section sitting on a bench. During the day this area was full of young girls in exercise attire running around and baby sitters and mothers running behind little kids. But at this time it was just Gavi and I. The sound of crickets behind us and the fresh Barcelona wind hitting us.

-You look beautiful tonight.- Said Gavi as he took my hand in his. I shook my head and scrunched my nose. -You have this power... I was exhausted from uni and felt like death and as soon as you said those words I felt perfectly fine.- He giggled.

I looked at him as I admired his boyish smile and the small lines that formed around his mouth and his eyes when he smiled. He leaned in closer to me and whispered. -Eres preciosa, mi niña.-

We sat on the bench for what felt like hours as I rested my head on his shoulder. We talked about what we had done the past few days and just anything that came to mind. Time with Gavi made me feel full in a way. Safe enough to be daring. Gavi spoke from the heart and I admired that about him, even if I wasn't brave enough to do the same.

-Are you ready for the match?- I asked as he threw small pieces of plants in front of us. He placed a small kiss on the top of my head. -I think so. You're coming, right?-

-I'll be there. I take my last exam the day before...- He interrupted me.

-Perfect, then you're all mine after that?- I pulled away from him and looked up with a smile. -All yours, Pablito.- He leaned in and our lips met. His kisses were soft and gentle, they felt detailed. He slowly pulled me to sit on his lap facing him with my knees on each side of his body.
