"We'll have to split up into groups." Mori said, his gaze flickering along you guys.
There was a silence between the group, nervous gazes as to what was to come filling the room.
Everyone was in the meeting all after getting ready, Mori going over the run down before y'all headed out.
Mori started pairing everyone up however he saw fit to insure no one was alone, to no one's surprise you and Akutagawa getting paired together.
You looked up at him, your gaze scanning over his face to see what he was feeling.
His face looked blank, like he didn't have a single emotion at all.
It made you a bit sad, the fact that he was always so upright and distant when around the others. Yet you saw him be more "relaxed" when it was just you two.
Though you wouldn't blame him, whenever they see him show any emotion other than anger towards you, rumors start up again.
There already being whispers and smirks from the others at you just being partnered together.
"Alright everyone, let's go!" Mori said, sounding a little more cheerful then he should be.
As Mori led the way nervousness sparked throughout everyone.
Y'all were still completely blind to the situation, only knowing about the party and some "game" this guy wanted the PM to participate in.
"What do you think will happen?" You heard Tachihara say to Gin, his voice sounding worried.
"I'm not sure, but I guess we'll find out soon." She said back, her voice sounding stressed.
Great, this is going to be a long night.

As y'all arrived at the very fancy looking building, anxiety spiking through the group all over again.
"Remember your groups, and stay close together." Mori said, making his way towards the building.
Murmurs of agreement fell along the group as y'all followed him into the building.
The room was full of people, like a normal masquerade would be.
People were dancing and cheering, some getting wine and snacks while others talked in the corner.
You caught yourself shifting closer to Akutagawa the more anxious you felt. To your luck the man didn't move away.
Mori instructed us to fit in, and not to upset anyone, that as long was we stay calm and with a buddy we should be okay until more information is provided.
"So uh, what now?" You said to Akutagawa, nervousness lacing your voice as you looked at the man.
"We should stand to the side and wait and avoid any crowds." He said, clearly thinking a lot about anything that could go wrong.
"True, we don't want to give any chances to be divided." You said, looking around at all the people. The rest of the PM dividing up to try and get answers about whatever they could.
There was a nod from Akutagawa before he started to walk off, you following next to him. You two soon finding a spot against a wall to stand.
"So, what do you think will happen?" You said, sighing out as you spoke.
Akutagawa looked at you, his arms crossed as he leaned against the wall. "I'm not sure, but definitely not anything good." He said, scanning across the room. "Anything could happen, like Mori said."
