They're here for you
I'm here for you, and I promise that always
You can cry and I'll be here
You can be angry and I'll be here
You can feel so miserable that you want to end your life, and I'll always be here
All I ask in return is that you appreciate my existence
It can be in the simplest way, or however complex you want it to be
A simple thank you is all I need to keep going
It doesn't matter if I'm drowning in my own despair, as long as someone's there to say thank you
Someone's here, they're here for you, and it's me. I'm here for you,
My reward is the way I make you feel.
I won't ask you to smile, I care because I care
But if what I've done for you has eased your pain, made your day, your life, brighter
If you smile, I'll know I'm still good enough for this world
