Hello!

So, this book takes place in a weird mix of the book canon and the movie canon. Characters that aren't really featured as much in the movie, such as Madge, Portia, or even the Avoxes, have a bigger part like they do in the books. But it also pretty closely follows the movie timeline. Some events are still held and follow book timeline, others are held and follow movie timeline. So if small details seem weird, just assume it's from the other version or improvised entirely. Also, this book takes place from the start of The Hunger Games all the way until after the events of Mockingjay. All in one go.

As an aside- I've literally wrote quite a lot of this in the span of like- a month? I got hyper fixated on the hunger games and there's no going back. So if there's any annoying grammar/spelling mistakes, I probably wrote the chapter at like 4 in the morning.
