Frida snorted bored for the umpteenth time. She adored her cousin Hanne, really, but often she dragged her into tiring and long situations like that one, where she had to choose to buy a dress for a wedding and "You know I can't do it alone. I need you!".

Frida rolled her eyes again and told herself to stop being so moody and at least take a look at the clothes in front of her. She wouldn't have bought anything, she didn't need anything, but she had always liked fashion and once she had loved going through the various stands of the thousand shops on the main street for hours...

"Tell me If this isn't perfect!".

Frida jerked slightly and turned around, behind her, her cousin enthusiastically showed her a flowing lilac dress "Well, you have to try it on to see If...".

"Oh God!" Hanne interrupted her, gushing "But even before I try it, isn't it perfect?! Oh, yes it is! I'm going to try it right away!" and she practically flew through the store to the dressing rooms.

Frida watched her run away with her mouth open, snorting slightly. 'What did I come here to do If she doesn't even listen to me?' and she rolled her eyes again. She wandered back towards the various aisles of the shop, keeping close to the dressing area, certain that her cousin would have screamed at the top of her lungs to look for her If she hadn't found her there.

As she lookd at a pale pink satin shirt, she heard her phone ring in her purse. She pulled it out and saw an incoming message:

'Hey! How are you?... Ehm, well, you know, I was wondering... how are you... And... You know... Just checking If everything is fine... I'm not so good with texts, as you can clearly see! Ok... Well... Hope to read from you soon...'.

She stared at the phone for a few moments and then jumped slightly when another message arrived immediately after.

'It's Benny! By the way...'.

Frida stared at the second message even more astounded than the first and then sighed, placing the phone back in her bag almost angrily.

She had promised herself again and again that she was fine as she was, that she didn't need anyone and least of all a man... let alone the father of one of her students! The thing she promised herself never to do: get involved with the people who were part of her job.

'Not again...' Frida sighed and shook her head. Despite her good intentions, something always made sure that everything she had promised herself not to do mathematically happened.

"This is it!".

Frida turned towards the dressing rooms and found her cousin in front of the mirror, gazing at her reflex happily.

"So? What do you think?" Hanne asked her.

Frida smiled and nodded "Yes, it fits you very well".

"So, how was the show?" Hanne asked with her mouth full, enjoying her ice cream.

Frida looked at her amused. She had always been a mess and that had always made her extremely funny.

"It went very well. The girls were splendid" Frida replied humble. She adored her work and adored teaching the little ones, watching them grow. The credit was to them in the first place.

Hanne touched her shoulder with hers "You're good, my cousin. I know you're thinking you didn't do anything. But you do everything and more instead" she told her with a smile.

Frida briefly looked at her and smiled embarrassed "But it's true. If they weren't capable, my work would be useless".

Hanne rolled her eyes "I'll never be able to convince you that you're good, will I?".
