The three went to the table where Jimin's brother, Namjoon, is playing chess by himself... He then looked up to them when Jimin approached him...
"Joonie-hyungie~"

The latter quickly identify the two as Jungkook and his brother, yet his attention diverted more to the older one...
Fucking perfect! The untouchable Kim Seokjin of the Tennis club who has the reputation of rejecting girls and boys everyday... "Oh hey... Glad to finally meet Jimin's friend... You must be Jungkookie?"

"Oh yes that's me!" Jungkook raised his hand. "Helloooo~"

"Hello too..." Namjoon offered a warm smile. "I'm glad you're okay... Jiminie talks a lot about you, and he never lie about how cute you are..."

Jungkook ducked his head and cover his ear. "I-I'm handsome, not cute..."

"Oh okay okay, my bad... You are handsome..." Namjoon pet his head. "Anyway, who's him?" He pointed out the taller guy beside him.

"Ooh! This is my brother, Jin-hyung..." Jungkook beamed. "He's in the same year and same school as you..."

Namjoon stood up to shake hands of the guy named Jin. "Nice to know you, Jin... I think we met somewhere before..."

Jin smiled. "Oh yeah! We met last year, entrance ceremony... Remember the kid with glasses? That's me..."

The taller frowns a little, trying his best to remember. "The boy who asked me for directions?"

"Yes yes! That's me..." Jin exclaimed. "Wow! What a small world..."

Both Jimin and Jungkook left the two high schoolers alone to get to know more... The kids had their way to the cashier to check for the pastries available. They missed each other so much that they didn't waste their time with anything else apart from their conversation. Jungkook told Jimin about his plan to join Boxing club or Taekwondo club where he can learn moves to be able to protect himself and his love ones... His friend only listen to him and even encouraged the other to pursue his plan... On the other hand, Jimin himself wanted to learn baking, so his parents decided to enroll him in baking school...

While the teenagers and the kids were having a great time together, Mr. Park personally served them pastries and cold drinks... "Whatever you are doing, make sure not to starve yourselves..."

Jin somehow felt shy at the sweet gesture of Mr. Park, offering him to pay for his and his brother's food... But the older told them that whatever they wanna order is on the house, as they are their children's guests... The said boy decided to just embrace the said man, wanting to feel the warmth of a dad...

"Your dad is so cool and thoughtful... I wish we have the same parents as yours..." Jin smile sadly.

"Not gonna lie, my dad is really the coolest dad that anyone can wish for... Since he experienced being poor before, he promised to himself that once he have a family, he won't let them experience the same fate as him... He worked hard, always accepting overtime, even though his boss is a huge asshole, just to earn more for his family... As soon as he earn enough savings, he started his own business and never work for anyone else again. Mom, on the other hand, is also a hardworking person... She started her teenage years as waitress, then she's the one who support herself to finish college, and now here she is, a great boss to her employees..." Namjoon sips his cold drink. "Their dynamics is great, don't you think?"

Jin smiled and nods. "Your parents radiates happiness and contentment, something that we never seen in our own..."

Namjoon kept himself quiet, only humming while sipping his drink again. Maybe he can help the other to see life in different perspective?

The two kids were busy coloring their books when Jungkook saw a drawing of a ring with a cute diamond on top... "Jimin-ah! Jimin-ah! Look!"

The other kid look into the illustration. "Ooh! It's a ring! So pretty! But what about it?"

"My dad gave my mom a ring like that..." Jungkook proudly  said. "It glimmers whenever there's light..."

Jimin's eyes sparkles. "Do you think I also own a ring like that in the future, Jungkookie?"

The young kid hums. "Of course! Jiminie can have pretty rings with gold and diamonds! I can give you one when I grow up!"

Jimin giggles. "But boys who give rings to the other wanted to marry them, like your dad to your mom..." He poke the latter's chubby cheek. "Are you gonna marry Jiminie?"

"Uh-uhm... Maybe? But I'm gonna tell Uncle Park first! I-I also need to buy ring! But I don't have work... Maybe I can give you paper rings?"

"Paper Rings? What's that?" The cute child pouts cutely. "Can you make one for me now?"

Jungkook shook his head. "Not now Jiminie... I'll give you one in the future once we grow older..."

"Is that a promise, Jungkookie?" Jimin looks at him with his cute puppy eyes.

"It's a promise, Jiminie... Kookie will make you lots of beautiful paper rings..."

He will make sure not to break that promise in the future, after all, Jimin is someone he dream to spend every single day of his life with... It is a feeling that even scientists can't explain; Something that you didn't know that you need, until you met someone who can make everything seems surreal...
