4.25 part II

After eating dinner, the two young men went to the living room to have a proper conversation... Jimin is sitting on the couch while embracing his knees and hiding his face. He is still hurting... Jaehyun wanted to reach out to him, but stopped himself to do so when he heard Jimin sobbing...

"Jimin-ah, I know things aren't going well right now, but you need rest... We have classes tomorrow, and I know how important your grades are for your scholarship... We can talk again tomorrow, or once you feel better..." Jaehyun said while looking at the smaller.

Jimin scoots closer to rest his head on the taller's shoulder. "Jaehyun-ssi... I don't get it why everyone bullies me... For me, it doesn't really matter if I was born in a poor family, with nothing but sweet potatoes and corn to eat...
But it hurts so much whenever they made fun of me as if I'm their source of entertainment everyday... Back when I was in Busan, they usually hurt me and even dirty my clothes since I'm just a son of a farmer..." He sighs softly. "Then now, when I came here to this city just to finish my studies, yet I met Jungkook-hyung and treated me as if I'm nothing..."

Jaehyun gently caresses the smaller's head while looking at the ceiling. "I dunno whether it will be considered this as bullying, Jimin-ah... But since he hurt you from lying, I don't think I can't stop myself from punching him in the face tomorrow... But, if you tell me not to touch that bastard, then I won't... I will always respect your decision since it is you who we are talking about..."

Jimin wipes his wet cheeks with the back of his hand harshly, as he was so embarrassed to his own friend who did nothing but to take good care of him... He never knew that love could be exhausting, and it is starting to take a toll into his mental health.
"Hey Jaehyun-ssi, can I go with you to school? It's just that, I don't have enough money to ride a taxi from here..."

"You don't have to ask me, Jimin-ah... I'll take you with me whether you like it or not..." Jaehyun smile weakly. "We'll be leaving around 6am, so you better rest now..."

"Alright..." Jimin stood up to face Jaehyun who's still sitting on the couch. "And thank you... Thank you for being here with me... Goodnight..." The smaller walks through the halls and into his room. Hopefully tomorrow, he won't be able to meet Jungkook or he might end up hurting again.
