5.17 part II

The manager himself is the one who ushered the band to the VIP room, where Mr. Bang is waiting... As soon as they arrived, Jimin is the first one to approach the middle aged man and embrace him tight... He was like a father to Jimin, and Mr. Bang himself is so fond of the cute boy...

"Minnie! Oh wow... It's been a while since we last saw each other..." Mr. Bang pet the smaller's head. "You haven't visit my house for a while now... Did your dad told you not to?"

"Oh no no uncle! It's not like that... Minnie is just busy with school and stuff, that's why I haven't stop by your beautiful house... But maybe this weekend, I'll bring my friends with me too..." Jimin smiles as he let go of his uncle. "Which is also the main reason why I asked you to meet them..."

Mr. Bang finally noticed the four young men behind Jimin... They were all good looking and seems possessed the same passion for music and performing... Jimin is the one who introduced the band to their future boss, which made them a little less nervous...

Their dinner was filled with lots of laughter and stories from everyone, as if they are knowing each other again for the first time... Jungkook even played their recorded demos from his phone, letting the business man hear most of their work... It is no surprise that with the help of Jimin's charms to his uncle, and their unbelievable hardwork, Mr. Bang verdict them a 6-year contract for now under his entertainment, Hybe labels... The said contract was supposed to be given to another band, yet the said band proceed on competing in the same tv show that the Jinx turned down... So when Jimin told his uncle about them, Mr. Bang wanted to know them better and maybe they can proceed with something more...

"It is quite a surprise for me to hear from my little Minnie that he knew a band who wanted to go beyond their own territory, as most of them are stupid enough to enter a competition who clearly has low chances of getting into top spot, unless they are willing to sleep with either the juries or their producers to keep going..." Mr. Bang explained. "That's why when I heard your demos, I never had second thoughts about my decision and already proceed in the final part of this deal, which is to ask you to sign the contract under our wing..."

Jimin looked at the members of the band as he gave them the warmest smile he can muster... Jinx already proved the indie world that they are capable enough to be on top... So why not mold the bright future for them and serve it under their feet, right?

"Then we will just discuss the terms under the contract in the other table for a few minutes... We will give you the answer after..." Jungkook said as the four of them excuse themselves and walk to the farthest table in the room.

"So Minnie... Are you gonna tell me who's your boyfriend in that band?" Mr. Bang asked while looking at his favorite nephew. "You seemed so eager to help them, as if the world will end if you didn't see them achieve their dreams..."

"Uncle, it's not like that... We're not even dating yet..." Jimin sighs as he drink water from his glass. "It's just that, Jungkook-ssi and his band worked so hard in this field, and they only need one shot to achieve their fullest potential, which will be done with your guidance..."

Mr. Bang chuckled and pet the smaller's head again. "Aish! How can you talk like your dad? Now I'm missing my cute little Minnie who only likes Cherry flavored food..."

"Uncle!" Jimin whines which made the older laugh. "I'm still your little Minnie!"

"I know I know... I just missed my favorite nephew so much..." The older replied. "But I don't have to miss you anymore since if the band agrees with the contract, I'll be assigning you to be their manager..."

Jimin looks at the group with such adoration. "If that's what you want uncle, then I will definitely accept the offer... I also want to see them grow and achieve everything they want..."

Their dinner ended with such delight, after the band finally decided to sign the contract... Jungkook clasped his hand with the smaller, as if he is the reason of everything happening to them... Once the older decided to go first, Jimin found himself being engulfed in a group hug... The band will about to start rehearsing the day after tomorrow, so they should brace themselves for the new battles that the industry will throw at them...

"I know you can do well cause I believe in you all..." Jimin smiled. "Let's make Jinx the biggest Korean rock band in the history!"

"YES!!!"
