The Royal Alpha

~Ten~

As Taehyung was taking a shower, his father and Namjoon were gathering several palace guards to help get the women out of the palace.

His mother was getting Tae's clothes ready for him to change into once he gets out. She was very eager to get rid of those women.

Tae walks out and quickly gets dressed. He then turns to his mother and tells her, "Let's get this over with so I can go find my mate."

He walks out with a determined gait and finds his father and brother along with several guards dragging the two women out of the room they had been occupying.

They are kicking and screaming while grabbing onto their bags. One is heavier than the others and gets accidentally knocked out of the older witch's grasp. She immediately tries to grab it again but it falls to the ground and the sound of glass breaking is heard from within.

Namjoon saw that she looked desperate to keep it out of their hands and quickly reaches for it. He opens it and sees the bottom of the bag full of colorful powder. He also sees several plants or herbs in a plastic bag.

"Give that to me! It's mine!" The witch yells out.

But Namjoon raises it over his head, keeping it out of reach.

"Why are you so desperate to hold on to this? Is it perhaps the proof we need that you have kept the Royal Alpha in total darkness and unable to think for himself?" Tae's father asks angrily.

Her eyes move from Tae's father to Namjoon in a shifty manner. When she looks over Namjoon's shoulder and sees Tae walking down the steps, she makes a quick grab for the bag. But his father is quicker and steps away from her.

"What's going on here?" Tae asks. His mother by his side.

"We think we have the proof that we need that they have been drugging you for weeks."

Tae storms towards them and grabs the old woman by her shoulders and shakes her roughly. "Why did you do it?!"

He repeats the question over and over but he stops when he hears her begin to laugh. She wears an evil grin while throwing her head back as she laughs.

When Tae lets her go she replies, "I don't know what you mean sire. I'm just a simple person who wants what's best for her daughter."

Tae then turns to Ga-young whose eyes are wide with fright.

"What do you say about this?"

She shakes her head and quickly turns on her mother.

"I didn't have anything to do with whatever happened! I was just forced to go along with her. I swear."

Her mother growls, "How dare you turn on me you ungrateful bitch! I will make sure you will never utter a single word against me again!"

Tae then yells to the guards, "Throw them in the dungeon and we will deal with them later."

They are then dragged out of the room and led down a dark hall that leads to the dungeon.

Once they were gone, Tae's mother asks, "What are you going to do now Taehyung-ah?"

"I'm going to search for my mate. I will start by going to his mother's house. And pray that I can bring him back to my side."

Down in the dungeon

"I can't believe you backstabbed me after everything I have done for you."

"You didn't do it for me. You wanted it for yourself. I know that you have been working on that spell. But you need the blood of a young woman to make it work. Now you're not going to be in contact with any of the maids here."
