~Seven~

Jin walks closer to Tae after noticing that he was acting strangely. He was stunned when Tae slapped his hand away from him and growled angrily towards him.

Everyone stood shocked when they heard him and then walk towards the young woman and kissed her.

Jin felt a burning pain that began in his chest and then towards his mating mark.

Tae's father ran towards them and pried them apart. But the older woman yelled out, "It's happened. Just as I suspected. My daughter is the chosen one."

As she was speaking Jin's pain was growing more intense. His mother walked over to him and tried to hold onto him as he collapsed on the floor.

Everything was happening so quickly that Jungkook and Namjoon just stood there looking at everyone.

"Taehyung-ah! What is happening here?" His mother yelled.

His father was still struggling to contain him, trying to keep them apart from each other. Until finally he asked Namjoon to help him.

Jin's mother called for Jungkook's help to carry him to the sofa. She realized that something very wrong was happening to her son. Something unnatural and wicked.

While she tended to him, Tae's parents were blindsided by Tae's actions. And the look on his face doesn't seem like himself at the moment.

"Let me go! I need to go to her!"

Tae's mother looked towards the older woman and her daughter and saw that they exchanged a sly grin between them and she knew that something was up.

It takes Tae's father and brother a while to get Tae to settle down and they all are told to go to the parlor room so they can discuss things calmly.

The older woman sits on the corner of the sofa and her daughter sits next to her. They are holding hands and looking at Tae's parents expectantly and with a wide smile.

Tae sits right across from them and Jin is still sitting on the end of the couch with his family. He is leaning against Jungkook's shoulder with his eyes closed. He is shaking and he is perspiring profusely.

The older woman and her daughter don't even give them a glance. Their attention is only on Tae and his parents.

"I don't know what exactly happened earlier, but I am pretty sure there's some kind of mistake. Our son has already found his mate. He has already mated and marked him. So you must be mistaken.

By the way... who exactly are you? I was told that everyone who was invited did attend the ball." Tae's father asks.

The older woman answers right away, knowing she would be asked that question soon enough.

"My name is Moon Gee-so and this is my daughter Ga-young. We live in Andong Valley which is quite a long way from here. We did receive an invitation to the ball and had planned to attend. But we ran into some mechanical problems along the way and it was unfortunate that we couldn't make it. But we finally made it and I just had a good feeling that my daughter was destined to be the next queen. And I'm so glad we came because I was right. My daughter is his destined mate." She claps her hands excitedly.

"So all we need to do now is get our mating ceremony started and we can get on with our lives." Tae says as he stands.

Hearing that, Jin sits up with the urge to vomit. But he needs to ask his supposed mate the most important question before he can do anything else.

So he walks over to stand in front of Tae and asks, "Are you saying you want to break our bond? You are rejecting me as your mate?"

Tae is slightly affected by the words the person just spoke. But in his magically affected mind, he only sees Jin as a gray blur and his natural instincts to protect his mate are blocked because of it.
