Alysa POV:
It's been three days since Ross had dinner with us. We have been working on the house nonstop and finally just finished tonight. Everything was painted but there were still a few things that needed to be moved in or bought. Ross had been over yesterday afternoon to lend a hand. He wanted to help more but he was busy. I'm not sure why he is sticking around.
I'm not one of those happy go lucky girls right now. I was once happy and positive but things changed. I don't see that light in me that was once there.
I was currently in the workout room trying to dig through things. We had put all of our stuff in there till we put it all away. Once the room is cleared out we will be filing it with workout equipment. As I was digging through a box I noticed Ross down on the street. He was on a skateboard with another boy and girl who looked just like him.
I saw him look up just in time to catch my gaze. He waved at me and then motioned for me to come down. I thought about it before deciding to grab my tennis shoes and head down. Harry was watching TV with the others and didn't notice me walk out the door.
"Hi Ross." I said quietly.
I noticed the other two had stopped as well and we're just watching.
"Hey this is my brother and sister. Umm Riker why don't you guys go ahead. I will be home later." He said.
They both smiled at me before leaving Ross behind with me. I probably came off as a snob for not smiling back. But I just couldn't.
"Hey do you know how to ride a skateboard?" Ross asked me.
"No" I said shyly
He held out his hand and looked me in the eyes. I could see the emotion there. He was asking me with his eyes if I could trust him with riding a skateboard.
Could I trust him with this? With anything?
I know I have to start somewhere. Maybe this was a sign. Maybe this was the right time to start trusting others again.
I grabbed his hand and put my other hand on his shoulder as he helped me step up on to his skateboard. I looked into his eyes telling him I could trust him with this. My head new I could trust him with riding a skateboard.
But deep down my heart new that in this moment I was trusting him with so much more.

Harry's POV:
We were all laying around watching tv after finishing for the day. Well everyone except Alysa. She was still working. But I new she needed to. She wasn't ready to sit down and let her mind wander yet. She still needed time. She needed to keep herself busy.
I could here commotion from outside and wondered who it could be. The front windows were open so I assumed it was coming from there. I got up and walked to the front windows only to be hit with pure shock.
Alysa was outside with Ross. She was riding slowly on a skateboard while holding on to Ross's hand and shoulder. She looked scared but at the same time a little excited. And her smile was just a little bigger than it was before.
"That boy sure is something isn't he Harry." I heard Eleanor say from behind me.
I shook my head and waited for her to go on.
"I have only known her a couple days and already she has changed. She has opened up a little more. I think we all are a part of it, but you and Ross have done wonders. When he is with her it's like everything about her is brighter and happier. And I don't even think she realizes it's happening." Eleanor spoke.
