Alysa POV:
Standing outside my old home caused many emotions to run through me. When the others found out I was coming here they wanted to go with. But I new having them all there would be to much. I new they were worried but I only needed Harry and Ross with me. I have enjoyed having Ross with me. He has been keeping his distance while I have reconnected with my friends. But after asking him last night if he would come with me today, he hasn't left my side. I think Jessica and Anna had noticed and I am surprised they haven't said anything yet. I left Anna's house knowing I would have many people supporting me when I got back.
This morning I took my key I kept on a chain from my bag. I put it around my neck and then under my shirt before I left this morning. Harry had never seen it before but wasn't surprised I had it.
I know pulled the key out from my shirt and looked at it before looking at Harry and Ross. They both smiled at me encouraging me to keep going. Ross slowly put his hand on my shoulder and Harry took my hand in his. Together we walked up to my door and I unlocked it.
The door lead to my garage. Inside the garage the suburban and Chevy Impala still sat. There was still things on the shelves and there was even shoes on the shoe rack still. It looked as if someone still lived here.
I went up the three steps to the next door. I slowly opened the door before walking in. Straight ahead was the kitchen and to my right was the Stairs that lead down to the basement. I walked into the kitchen. There were still papers on one of the counters. There were still dishes in the cupboards. It all looked as if there was still a family living here. All of my moms decorations were still set up. I walked into the living room and saw all the pictures still on the walls.
"Alysa why was all this stuff left here?" Harry asked.
"When my parents passed most of their stuff was left to us kids including the house. Since I am the oldest I was left with the decision of what to do with everything."
"I couldn't. Stand to be in the house. I only came in here once after they died to get some clothes for when I left. I had ordered that everything be left as it was. There's were only a few things that I had allowed to be taken out. All of the food was thrown away and a few things that family wanted." I said.
Harry shook his head and then looked around at the pictures.
"Do you think you guys could go get those boxes that we brought. I think it's time to clear some of it out. I would like to take it with us back to London if that's alright." I asked.
"Of course! Ross and I can get the boxes. Just wait here." Harry said quickly.
Once they had went out the door I walked down the hallway. I passed my old room and stopped outside the door of the master bedroom. I looked at the door before opening it and slowly walking in.
I hadn't let anyone in this room at all. It still looked like they were there. It wasn't neat and clean like all the other rooms. Dirty clothes were in a basket with a few scattered along the floor. The dresser was partly open and the closet door was was open. The bathroom was scattered with hair products and other things. The bed sheets were pulled back and still wrinkled. All there stuff was at the head board of their bed
I hadn't heard Harry walk in until he said my name. I looked at Harry and Ross and then became aware of all the tears that were streaming down her face.
"It's time... To clean... The room..." I choked out.
Ross came and gave me a big hug while Harry went to get a box. I cried into Ross's shirt for a few minutes before letting go to look at Harry. He set the box on the bed and I got to work.
