Chapter 5- The Accident

The big day as finally arrived, the day where me and Otto worked for weeks for this, I must say I was nervous but excited but by looking at Otto's face and his body language I could tell he was very excited. I could tell this meant a lot to him.

I walked over to the brown coat hanger where I grabbed my grey lab coat and put it on me alongside grabbing Otto's one and walking up to him to give his coat, hands trembling while sweat runs down my face but instantly being washed away with his warm smile.

"Darling, there's no need to worry about me I'm a grown man I'll be fine" he laughs putting his hand on my shoulder, which gave me a rush of butterflies *Oh god...why do I feel like this? He's such a gentlemen and-..! no not again I have to get these weird thoughts out of my head for god sakes!*  "Hey dear you should move to the side he's about to start the presentation" Rosie says smiling at me and bringing me to the side as I watch him about to speak.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, me, my dear wife and my amazing assistant Y/n"  as he spoke and said that final part of his sentence a bright blush of red flashes cross my face as he says 'amazing assistant'.

"Before we start, has anyone lost 20 dollar bills in a rubber band, because we found the rubber band" , a quick laughter spreads across the audience including Peter and Harry laughing as well, which even I must say his little jokes sound so dorky which I find.... *No Y/n remember you can't think such things, your just an assistant to him!* Snapping back to reality I continued to listen and try my best not to get lost in my thoughts again.

(Otto's Pov:)

*The way he looks at me..with those beautiful  golden brown eyes which I could get lost in forever...he looks at me if I'm like sort of a art piece someone just drew and they could admire that painting all day...but no I can't I'm a loyal man who already has a beautiful wife who loves me, I just need to push those thoughts away*

"Haha!, sorry that was a terrible joke, but thank you for coming, today you will witness a birth of a fusion based energy source, save renewable energy and cheap electricity for everyone  and now let me introduce my assistants"

(No ones Pov:)

I clenched my grey lab coat tightly I felt many things, I felt excited but nervous, I tried to slow down my breathing paste when Otto pulled off the grey blanket showing four massive grey metal arms which looked like it came out of a horror movie, like some type of sea monster. But oh god when he takes off his lab coat and I wish he could take off more~. *Uhm sorry not this again not these stupid thoughts, it will pass and don't worry Y/n its probably your mind playing tricks on you again* 

Looking around the audience spotting Peter, I could tell he had no words but just was memorised by the arms but looking back at Otto he explained how the arms functioned and how he would control them, he tapped the keyboard and not slowly after the arms started pairing with him, fusing onto his back.

The arms slowly started to come out of the shell as they raised but everyone still be stunned. As he was speaking suddenly a home who looked like she was in her mid 30s with blonde short hair asked a question which made me heart dropped and made me more anxious then ever. 

"Sir what if the arms control you?"

"Oh don't worry miss, I installed a chip on top of my back which means that as long as the chip is there I control the arms"

"Now Rosie my dear can you give the blue lights?"

*Otto I really hope everything goes well, I don't want anything bad happening to you, oh god please make sure he will be okay and it will all be a success*

It started, the process has started, he explained how this was going to change the world, how he was going to make good for everyone.  He was stunned when he saw a little light which is the sun.

"The power of sun...in the palm of my hands..." 

"Sir it looks like a success fusion reactor!"

I saw the glance the way he looked at her, while everyone was clapping I couldn't help but look at the way they stare at each-other, it felt like I got a arrow short threw my chest, as I felt like tears were starting to prickle up, but I tried not to cry and decided to brush it off when I suddenly look down at the ground and see little things going towards the sun. 

I instantly rush to Peter and Harry. "Something's wrong we have to stop him I can't risk letting him get hurt because of me"

"Y/n are you out of your mind?! You can't say such things it won't be your fault!"

We both turn around gasping when we suddenly see people screaming running out of the exits while I could see panic in Otto's eyes.

"It's only a spark it will soon stabilise!!"

I ran to Rosie "Rosie!! please listen to me. you have to get out of here and I promise you your husband will be fine but I'm sure he wouldn't want you getting you hurt because he loves you so he rather let himself get  hurt then you so please leave!!"

"I can't I don't want to leave..Otto please stay back!!"

Suddenly Peter picks me up as he swings me across the, as he swings across I make eye contact with him, he looks at me so broken and it hurts me..*it's all my fault, all my stupid fault, he looks so betrayed and now he probably hates me!*

"Y/n get out of here please okay! I promise you Otto will be fine I promise..."

Palms sweating with my eyes wide shot open I ran to the exit but I froze mid way, something was stopping me it was telling me to go back. I turn backwards running across the room with the glass shattering into pieces.

"Rosie!! hang on I'm nearly there please move out of the way!" I keep running as the glass shatter, I duck down covering myself, while with Rosie, things didn't end well. 

"ROSIE!!" Otto's screams go through in and out of my ears while I grab Rosie, with her blood dripping all over my coat. "Rosie...you have got to stay with me!!! please do this for me or most importantly stay for Otto!"

I burst out crying with my tears dripping down onto my lab coat while Spiderman grabs me and takes me out of there. As we pass through I see Otto laying on the ground unconscious, my breath started picking up again wanting to cry all over again.

*It's all my fault....*

(Time skip pass the hospital)

I lay in bed not knowing what to do, not even wanting to do anything, getting up with my cub of tea I pass through to look at myself,  with my fluffy hair all over the place and my dirty old stinking t-shirt which says "Believe in yourself!"

Sitting down on the couch I sit down and grab my remote, opening the tv and watching the news.

*Breaking News!! A man with four massive metal arms escaped loose from the hospital and is unknown where he want off too, please remain safely in your homes for the time being*

Not soon after I feel it happening all over again like a loop, my breathing starts to pick up again turning into a fast paste while I fall into the ground and bang my head against on the side table, passing out.
