CHAPTER 8 - Rewrite The Stars

"Please!" Alec begs for the guard to let him enter the backstage. Desperate to be able to see Funneh again much closer. "I swear to you, Funneh knows me!"
   "As far as I remember, she knows no Alec, young man," the guard said in a strict tone.
   "I just want to see Funneh!" Alec looks like a little kid having a tantrum.
   "NO," the guard holds back Alec. "Leave, before I call my fellow guards."
   "What's the problem, Sam?" Funneh enters the scene along with Evan.
   "This guy keeps claiming that you know him, Miss Funneh," Sam, the guard, pushes Alec towards Funneh.
   As soon as Funneh sees Alec once again, her heart shatters.
   "Funneh!" Alec exclaimed.
   "Alec..."
   Evan covers Funneh. He looks at Alec in the eye. "What mayhem do you want to cause now, huh?"
   "Evan, please..."
   "Aren't you contented with what harm you did to Funneh about seven years ago?" Evan asked in a sarcastic tone.
   "..." Alec doesn't know what to say.
   "Well, for your information, I won't let that happen once more," Evan continued lecturing. Then, he holds Funneh's hand. "For I am HER boyfriend. And I swear to never hurt her, like what you did."
   Draco enters the scene with Kyran. They're both in shock to see who are they with. But Draco decided to not be obvious about it.
   "I-I thought..." Alec is clearly shattered with what Evan just said. "I-it was just for a show... To keep your fans..."
   "W-well, it isn't, Alec," Funneh lied. "Now go." She grabs Evan with her to leave. "I have better things to do."
   "You know I want you..." Alec said.
Funneh paused.
   "It's not a secret I try to hide," Alec continued. "I know you want me... So, don't keep saying our hands are tied. (...) What if we rewrite the stars?" he attempts to ask for a second chance.
   "You think it's easy? You think that I don't want to run to you?" Funneh asked. A confession about her feelings in disguise. "But there are mountains, Alec. There are doors that we can't walk through..." talking about the obstacle of their relationship... The mistakes of the past. "So, no one can rewrite the stars."
   "All I want is to fly with you, Funneh."
   "You know I want you..." Funneh confessed. It took her a lot of courage to say that because of her pride. "It's not a secret I try to hide..."
   Seeing Funneh and Alec being visually still in love with each other pains Evan to the bone. He badly wants this scenario to stop. But he doesn't want to be a villain in Funneh's love life.
"But I can't have you..." Funneh continued. She looks at Alec in the eye. "We're bound to break and my hands are tied." She leaves Alec with Evan
   "Funneh!" Alec feels like bursting.
   Unexpectedly, Draco rushes towards Alec and punches him! The impact was so hard that he fell.
   "Draco!" Kyran was in shock.
   "See this, Ky?" Draco points Alec while looking Kyran. "This is just the first level on what I can do if you ever hurt Gold!"
   Kyran started sweating. How did Draco know that he likes his sister?
   Draco is a young man like Kyran too. So even if Kyran won't confess about his feelings for Gold, he would know. Plus, he's so obvious.
   "So don't you dare stop me," Draco continued. "HE HARMED MY SISTER, FUNNEH."
   "O-okay..." Kyran just nodded. Draco looks so intimidating! Then, he quietly leaves.
   Draco takes a deep breath. "How can you still have the capacity to show up after everything you've done?"
   "M-my love for Funneh..."
   "Tch." Draco could not believe what he's hearing. "LOVE? Alec, I understand that you had no intentions to hurt my sister. But hiding the fact that you were working for a serial killer? IT'S COUNTED AS LYING FOR HIDING THE TRUTH."
   "..."
   "Leave my family alone," Draco demanded in a cold tone as he starts walking away.
   "What do you know about love?" Alec asked. "We're just in the same level, Draco."
   "What... What do you mean?"
   "I know what you did to my sister, Aly, while I was away," Alec explained.
   "..." Horror enters Draco. "Sam, escort him outside." Then, he left.
