CHAPTER 4 - Forget You

Days later, Alec has finally recovered. But since he's been in bed for days, his bones are pretty weak for now. Hence, he needs to ride on a wheelchair for some time. Luckily, his younger sister, Aly, is there to assist him.

   "You should take good care of yourself from now on," Aly advised. Highly concerned for her brother.
   "..." No response from Alec.
   "Or else you'll be hospitalized again!" Aly continued.
   "It doesn't matter anymore, Aly..." Alec answered. "Funneh will never forgive me..."
   "..." Aly doesn't know what to say to make her brother feel better somehow. "Time heals wound, Alec. Just wait until the right time comes."
   "Yeah, right," Alec being a pessimist. "As if I'm still alive when that "right time" comes."
   Tears comes out from Aly's eyes. "Alec..."

   Months later... Ever since Funneh ended things with Alec; Gold, Kyran, and Evan help her find an activity to do, to distract her from the pain. And since Evan is from a band, that activity became singing and playing the guitar, Like Evan. Although it didn't really help Funneh... She did change... But in a bad way... Now, she'll be singing to the public for the first time.

   As soon as Funneh started singing, Evan, the one playing the guitar, noticed something. "Why are the lyrics different..." he thought. "It's like Funneh changed all of the lyrics with a deep meaning..."
   "Go find another girl who wants to listen," Funneh sang.
   Something clicked Evan as Funneh sang that line. "Could it be..."
   "So I cut you off!"
   "Alec..."
   "I don't need your love... Because I already cried enough," Funneh sang.
   "Funneh is still not healing..." Gold sadly commented as she listens her sister sing. She's with Kyran, a part of the crowd.
   "One day, Gold," Kyran answered.
   "Just be happy for Funneh, Evan," Evan told himself in his mind as he looks at Funneh with a bitter smile on his face. Knowing that the girl he likes still couldn't get over someone not him.
   As soon as the song gets higher, the crowd started to get hyped up. They enjoy her singing.
   While Funneh continues singing, she winked at Evan. It matched with the lyrics.
   Evan blushed. If it was just a part of the play for Funneh, for him, it was such a special moment.
   "Well, boy, I don't give a ----!" Funneh sang it out loud as she jumps high.
   Evan, Gold, and Kyran went in shock! Did Funneh just say a bad word?

   Funneh's song went viral after that. Slowly, she's earning herself some fans who adore and love her singing. Little does she know, Alec is one of them.
   During those days, Funneh made more songs. Evan, Kyran, the Krew, especially Gold, were always there to listen to her songs. But sometimes, Gold starts to see red flags. Funneh has been cursing by a lot.

   "So, you guys like it?" Funneh asked after she's done singing the song that started her career as a singer.
   "Funneh, I know you went through a lot, but, I won't tolerate you starting making bad words a normal one," Gold finally decided to speak up. She doesn't want her little sister to go down further this toxic route.
   Evan can sense Funneh not liking what Gold just said. "Should we just let Funneh be for now...? I mean, it does make her happy."
   "I couldn't believe that Evan understands me over you, Gold..." Funneh going through a rebellious phase. "You're my sister..."
   "Funneh, wait-"
   Funneh left her room.

   Funneh is outside their house, screaming the song that made her viral. The song about her moving on from Alec. Is she really though?
   "Funneh, are you okay...?" Gold asked.
   "Yeah, I am," Funneh answered with full positivity. Seems like she even forgot the little squabble she and Gold had earlier. She takes a deep breath. "It feels much lighter after I sang it all out."
   Gold, Evan, and Kyran exchanged looks. Not fully understanding what Funneh is trying to say.
   "Alec!?" Funneh yelled.
   Worries entered the three.
   "From now on... You'll just be in my past!" Funneh swore. "I'll forget about you from now on! Goodbye!"
   As the three sees that Funneh looked sincere with what just she said, their worries faded away and was replaced with smiles.
