PROLOGUE - Yandere's Secret

One day at Yandere High...

   "See you later at class," Yandere said as she leaves Funneh and Gold. As usual, she has this dark aura surrounding her.
   "Bye!" Gold and Funneh waves goodbye.
   "Hey Gold! Hey Funneh!" Kyran enters the hallway with Alec. "What's up?"
   "Oh, hi Kyran," Gold greets back. "Me and Funneh were just having a talk with Yandere."
   "Ooo," Kyran commented. "Some girl-talk?"
   "Well, not really," Gold answered.
   "...Let's head to our next class," Alec suggested. Feeling uneasy that the topic is none other than Yandere. "I don't want us to be late..."
   "Alec, we literally just came from the classroom!" Kyran complained. Alec not giving him a break. "Don't be such a killjoy. Give us and the girls some break."
   "I mean there's nothing wrong being early," Gold defensed Alec's suggestion. "I actually want to finish this school year being one of the top students. So, let's go." While she and the boys start heading to the next class, she noticed that Funneh isn't walking with them. "Funneh...?"
   Funneh couldn't get her eyes off Yandere, blending in the crowd. "Why does she has blood in her leg?"
   "Hm?" Gold made a sound as she looks at where Funneh's eyes are pointing. But Yandere is no longer seen. "Who?"
   "Yandere," Funneh answered. What she saw couldn't make her at peace.
   "..." Horror enters Alec. If Yandere will get caught, there's a huge probability he will be too. "M-maybe it was just a red marker?" he laughed nervously. "Y-you know... It's a prank!"
   "No..." Funneh does not consider Alec's theory. "It's not. The texture... It can't be just a marker stain or catsup."
   "Maybe Yandere accidentally wounded herself," Kyran suggested. "Her leg may have hit a sharp object or something."
   "If so, she would have placed a bandage or a gauze pad on the wounded area," Funneh also does not consider Kyran's theory. "And she walked just perfectly fine."
   "What are you trying to say...?" Gold asked. Already getting bad vibes from what Funneh is trying to saying.
   "I have no single clue either," Funneh answered truthfully. "But my gut feeling is telling me that something is off."
   "..." Alec feels like he's in a pot with boiling water.
   Suddenly, a student burst in, panicking. He looks so mortified as if he has seen a ghost. "Guys! I saw a dead body at the storage room!"
   After everyone heard what just he said, everyone started panicking!
   "Oh, my gosh!" Gold couldn't avoid to scream as well.

   "Estimated time of death, 9:30AM," the investigator said as he carefully inspects the dead body.
   The poor victim was killed in one of the storage room of Yandere High, located at the 2nd floor of the school. Because no one was able to find her asap, she later on ran out of blood and died because of that.
   "Can this help you identify who's the killer?" one of the police cautiously gets a red ribbon from the floor and shows it to the investigator.
   "Hm..." the investigator made a sound. "It may be an evidence, but it might not help. Every female student here in Yandere High wear this type of ribbon. It's part of their uniform."
   Suddenly, something clicked Funneh. She remembers that while she and Gold were talking with Yandere earlier, she wasn't wearing a red ribbon!
   Gold couldn't avoid to cry as she looks at the body. Recently, the victim and her were talking with each other by a lot. Hence, they grew friendship. "I can't believe she's gone... In the short time we know each other, I can tell that she's a good person."
   Funneh feels like she has to do something. Suddenly, she started walking away, filled with thoughts.
   "Funneh?" Alec noticed Funneh's presence fading away. As he looks to his right, he sees Funneh leaving.
   "I advise for the three of you to leave this area," one of the police suggested. "You may accidently touch things without caution and your fingerprints will be seen on the evidence."

   "Here's some water for you, Gold,"Kyran gives Gold a glass of water. Because of what just happened, him and Alecdecided to keep both Funneh and Gold in company at their dorm. Making surenothing bad will happen to them.
   "Funneh, are you okay...?" Alecasked as he looks at Funneh. She looks so serious and confused with what she'sthinking.
   "I know this sounds bad andlooks like I'm backstabbing a good friend, but..." Funneh takes a deep breath. "Ithink I know who is the one responsible for this."
   "W-who?" Gold places the glassof water on the side table beside her.
   Alec suddenly feels like theworld around him starts to get smaller and smaller... Dangerously small.
   Funneh looks at Alec with aserious face.
   Alec's heart suddenly startedbeating faster and faster. Afraid that Funneh may have already guessed it.
   "Yandere..."
   "W-what!?" Gold could notbelieve what Funneh is saying. "How can you say that? Yandere is our friend."
   "I know. That's why it's hardfor me to speak this out," Funneh confessed. "Remember earlier? While we wereat the crime scene to check what's going on? One of the police noticed that thevictim was holding a red ribbon."
   "Well, yeah. But every femalestudent here in Yandere High wears one because it's a part of our uniform."Gold is still being in denial. "So, how can you tell that it's Yandere?"
   "We talked to her earlier,"Funneh's simple explanation as she crosses her arms. "And I noticed that shewasn't wearing her ribbon."
   "And you spotted a blood stainon her leg..." Kyran starts to get the idea of Funneh's theory.
   "Exactly," Funneh said. "Plusdidn't the investigator said that the estimated time of the victim's death was9:30AM? Me and Gold were chatting with Yandere around 9:40. And the stain I sawin her leg were starting to dry, but still looking fresh."
   "It's possible that Yanderecould be the killer..." Kyran thinking of the possible motives. "I remember Iheard Yandere saying stuff about Senpai, when I was about to go to my locker.And she sounds so obsessed. Madly in love! She sounded like she's willing tokill!"
   "...And Victoria told me thatshe likes Senpai," Gold starting to see Yandere's motives. Victoria is therecent victim of Yandere's obsession with Senpai.
   "I-I'm sure Yandere won't dosuch thing..." Alec said. Not knowing how to handle the situation anymore. "A-allof what? For someone who doesn't even notice her existence?"
   "OH, MY GOSH..." Kyran went inshock.
   "What!?" Funneh went rattled.
   "I've just realized thepattern of the murdered students here in Yandere High..." Kyran said.
   "What is it?" Gold feelstensed.
   "All of them are girls," Kyranstarted. "And all of them were Senpai's admirers!"
   "...You mean she's also the onewho killed Valerie?"
   Silence entered the room...
