The night was still young, and Shen's fleet was preparing to leave Gongmen city for the sea through the river that ran through the city. The Furious Five, chained one on top of the other and tied to the mainmast of Shen's flagship, could do nothing but mourn the death of their dear friend.
Shen: - Oh. What sad faces you have. - He said ironically. - But now are times of joy. You are going to be part of something beautiful. - Tigress looked at him menacingly, while growling with rage. - Ugh. Spooky. - He made fun of her. - Once we leave the city... in front of the world. You and your precious Kung Fu will die. - He turned around and began to laugh cynically. - And China will prostrate before me. Hoist the sails! -
At Shen's command, the sails of the Junco boats in which they were transported were hoisted and caught the light early morning wind as the immense wooden hulking hulks glided smoothly on the calm waters of the river. Dozens of ships, infested to the smallest corner of Shen's army of wolves, moved silently through the canal. Torchlight reddened everything in its path. The residents leaned out in fear at such a sinister spectacle. An army that carried death on its shoulders.
Mantis: - The truth is, I never thought I would die like this. -
Monkey: - We can't give up. Well I wouldn't have. Right, Tigress? - Mono asked the one of the five who had the most rigid and inflexible character, but the truth was that she was as destroyed as any other.
Wolf: - You. Be silent, and wait patiently for his hour. -
The convoy continued advancing through the Gongmen canals until it reached a small bridge that crossed the river from one side to the other, where several of the citizens looked terrified at what was coming their way.
Wolf leader: - Lord Shen. What will we do with the bridge? -
Shen: - Nothing will stand in my way. Fire! -
At Shen's command, the wolves used the cannons to bring down the stone bridge, which succumbed to the destructive power, killing all the civilians on the bridge. The fleet continued to advance, destroying several of the bridges in its path, but the Furious Five could do nothing but watch the atrocities being committed.
All seemed to be lost. Shen's advance was unstoppable. Her new weapons would subdue China and anyone who stood in her way, and if not, those who dared to challenge her would meet the same fate as Master Rhino. And then, on the roof of one of the tall buildings that was on the edge of the canal, a silhouette rose up in front of the immense full moon.
Everyone was surprised, stunned by such a strange being. The moonlight hid her face, revealing only her enormous body, covered by a conical hat and a huge black veil that swayed gently to the rhythm of the early morning wind.
Without saying a word, the shadow leaped from the top of the structure and landed on the first ship in the convoy, hitting the wooden deck with all its might. The ship snapped in half, the wood creaking violently, and the poor unfortunate wolves just below perished instantly as their bodies were crushed by the enormous pressure. The rest of the wolves were thrown from the ship, falling on the river, the houses and the streets of Gongmen. The strange silhouette stood up on the deformed structure of the sinking reed, while a strong breeze strongly whipped the black cloak that covered it, and blew off his hat with force.
Furious Five: - Po! - They shouted loudly, shocked to see who they thought was dead.
Shen: - How many times do I have to kill that... panda? shoot him! -
The wolves began manipulating the cannons on the ships and tried to aim at Po, but he didn't give them a chance to try. Without warning, Po leaped forward and began mowing down all the wolves that got in his way with heavy, angry fists. He used the same boats to get to where the Furious Five were chained up, but Shen's army was ready to face him.
Like an uncontrollable pack, the wolves jumped at Po at the same time, carrying any type of weapon. Axes, swords, spears, all set to end the panda's life, but this was not the Po they had faced.
Po smacked the first wolf that approached him and grabbed his axe, and with a violent twist, the panda decapitated more than four wolves at once. Blood spattered his black cloak, and a strange red fire sprang from Po's green eyes. Po had accepted his emotions, and he was going to use them against them.
Po charged head-on before an army of wolves that had been paralyzed in fear as they saw the heads of their comrades roll and stain the floor with blood, and they weren't the only ones. Po advanced without remorse, dismembering and decapitating anyone who dared to cross his path. And when he was close enough, he tossed the gun at the Furious Five only to grab another.
Tigress: - Monkey! -
Monkey: - I'll take care of it. -
Monkey captured the ax with his long tail and used it to destroy the chains that held them. Once free, the five masters rushed to where Po was, beating down all the wolves in their path.
Tigress: - Impressive, Dragon Warrior. What's the plan? -
Po: - The plan is... to do what is necessary. -
The five masters were puzzled before Po's words. And her reaction was even worse when Po offered the bloody hatchet to Tigress. At first they thought it was a joke, but Po's look said the opposite. Tigress took the weapon a bit trembling, while the blood ran down the handle to her fingers. He felt afraid, but he didn't hesitate to understand Po's decision.
And so, a massacre occurred in the Gongmen channels. The river was dyed red, stained with the blood of the wolves that fell one by one. The rest of the masters joined Po's plan without question. Even Viper, the one who was apparently the most virtuous of all, took the corpse of one of the wolves and as if it were a puppet, it was used to brandish the swords it carried.
Shen, terrified by such barbarity, could not contain his fear and frustration.
Shen: - Fire! -
Wolf leader: - But sir... ours. - He also said wrapped in fear
Seeing that his faithful commander was frozen in fear, Shen threw a knife through his back and he fell into the crimson water of the river. Shen took the torch and set fire to the huge cannon carried by his flagship, much larger than the rest.
The powerful salvo from the massive weapon landed right in front of Po and the Furious Five, ripping apart not only the ships that had fallen, but also part of the city that faced the ocean shore. The remaining ships managed to get out of the channels and into the salty waters of the sea, dragging under their hulls the waves of corpses of their own army and the remains of sunken ships. Plus, there was no sign of Po or the angry five.
