Po's arrival at the villa did not go unnoticed. The pandas that inhabited the village ran to welcome Li's son, who despite everything, was also the warrior lord of the village.(*)

However, on the other side of the mountain pass, a dark shadow slowly moved towards the Valley of Peace. In front of the main hall of the palace, Master Shifu was looking at the ground, worried. He had sent Crane and Mantis on a reconnaissance mission. According to some sources in the region, Kai was hidden in the deserts of northern China, so Kung Fu masters from all houses went on an intense search, but to no avail.

However, Shifu was not alone. Surrounding him were thousands of letters from all over, announcing the demise of every master in all of China. Next to him, the masters Viper, Tigress and Monkey looked worriedly at their master's face.

Monkey: - It is from the eastern provinces. - He said after grabbing an arrow in mid-flight, which contained a letter wrapped with bad news.

Shifu: - Master Lizard, master Ox, master Eagle. All of them... Every master in China... has disappeared. -

Tigress: - Master. What's going on? -

Shifu: - Kai has taken your Chi. And now he's coming for us. - Master looked worriedly at the facade of the palace. - Go to town. Evacuate everyone. We must prepare for the worst. -

Tigress: - As ordered, master. -

Shifu: - Any news from Crane and Mantis? -

Tigress: - Not yet, but... -

Viper: - Wait. - He interrupted Tigress upon seeing a shadow flying in the sky. - Are they! - He exclaimed when he recognized the silhouette of his friends, but something was wrong.

Crane's silhouette circled the palace, leaving behind a thick green mist that obscured the top of the mountain. The four masters were shocked to realize that the Crane had now turned into a jade statue. Just as it happened to the other masters.

Crane flew over them with force, causing a powerful wind that caused the trees to lose many of their leaves. And the green cloud, it was a kind of miasma that drained the energy from the plants and the ground. Crane landed hard just a few meters from where they were, and then Mantis, who had been on top of her the whole time, landed next to her, also turned to jade.

Before the masters could even get up, a terrifying shadow passed through the thick green miasma that covered the entrance. With gleaming green eyes, her silhouette loomed large as she made sparks by striking the ground rock with her sharp chained jade swords.

It was none other than Kai himself, who had crossed the country only to claim his revenge. A macabre smile complemented his Machiavellian face, while his joints contracted in a somewhat unnatural way.

Kai: - Good. Well. Well. Look who we have here. The pathetic students who don't even come close to what Oogway once was. -

Shifu: - Kai. Your presence is not welcome here. -

Kai: - Oh yeah? - He said ironically. - And who's going to stop me? -

Tigress: - We will. -

Kai: - Stay quiet. kitten. -

Tigress did not tolerate Kai's comment, and together with the masters, they got into combat position, ready to face him. However, Kai had his sights elsewhere. He grabbed one of the swords, and pointed it at the huge stone statue of Oogway just outside the palace. Her hand trembled, and a pasty black tear trickled from her right eye.
