(V) The Reborn of the Furious

The tension was perceptible in the environment. The five students were quite nervous in the presence of their teacher. The crowd was silent, waiting. And after the loud sound caused by an immense copper gong, the combat between Víbora and the five aspirants began.

The first to charge Viper were Lain and Peng. Their anxieties did not allow them to wait any longer. The two snow leopards were entwined and closing rapidly on Viper, but the snake was now several years of experience on his shoulders.

With hardly much effort, Viper managed to delicately slip between the blows that the snow leopards gave her, and once positioned behind their backs, she launched them towards the other three with a sharp turn of her tail. Viper had honed his combat style to the limit. Very different from Po's style, rigid and powerful, Viper slipped past his opponents with finesse. She studied the anatomy of each species, and knew exactly the weak points of her opponents. When fighting, she avoided a direct confrontation, instead, she glided gracefully, like a beautiful dance. And before her opponent could notice, she was already defeated.

Víper's first decision was to position all of her opponents in front of her to avoid blind spots. And now, with all the applicants reorganized, the real combat began.

This time, Bian Zao and Jing Mai charged head-on. The huge boar and water buffalo had an imposing bearing, each standing over two meters tall. Jing Mei's horns and the fangs protruding from Bian Zao's mouth were deadly weapons that could tear their opponents to shreds.

Viper did not hesitate. With a delicate gesture, she hit Bian Zao across the face and deflected him to the side, causing him to collide with Jing Mei and both mastodons fall on top of each other. The crowd roared with excitement, but before Viper could get back up, the two snow leopards were already about her.

Viper quickly wrapped her body around Peng's arm and pushed him so that he hit Lain's stomach. The leopard staggered back from the impact, and Peng used his other arm to try to break the snake's grip, only getting a direct blow to the face. Viper was about to finish off Peng, but a shadow caught her attention.

Without even looking, Viper released the leopard's arms and stepped back just before Jian could reach her. The goose wore a style very similar to Master Crane. A style that Víbora knew very well from training by his side for years. Jian descended from the skies right between Peng and Viper, kicking up a bit of sand that launched to the teacher's face with his wing.

Viper jerked to the side only to meet Lain. The snow leopard managed to land a kick on Viper's body. But what was not expected was that the snake would use its her blow against her. Viper turned on the section of her body that was resting on the burning sand and returned the full force of her blow to Lain with the tip of her tail, and if it weren't for Jing Mei, the snow leopard would have come out of the combat área.

Now, Peng, Bian Zao, and Jian launched a joint attack. Each of them had their own styles and characteristics. Peng was explosive, his attacks were fast and powerful like the style of his uncle Tai Lung. Jian was small and managed to find the openings, also kept his distance from the heights, and finally, Bian Zao was strong and as difficult to take down as a mountain. His technique mimicked that of the Master Rhino: an impenetrable defense, a solid wall that charged his opponents head-on. Facing this trio wouldn't be easy, but Viper, rather than showing concern on her face, showed a strange smile. Something she acquired from Po unconsciously.

Bian Zao hit the ground right in front of Viper, and though it missed, the snake flew away. Covered by sand, the snake's body was somewhat blurry, but Peng and Jian jumped in front. The teacher was right in front of them, but when they threw his blows on the silhouette camouflaged by the sand, Viper simply disappeared.
