ARA!

𝐈 𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐥𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐨𝐩,

despite the screen was blank. My gaze was stuck on the device which was placed near the laptop.
A frustrated scream escaped from my lips when the device was failed to connect. It was frustrating how I wasn't able to jam the cameras in Kelvis. It wasn't easy but I could still do that easily with my secret codes but right now someone else is controlling them. They better move out or they'll get their system fired.
I heard footsteps behind me, turning around I faced allysa who was staring at my laptop where numerous numbers were running like waves. After awhile her eyes shifted to me and she smiled.

"Allysa, stop being so formal. I am rarely at home that doesn't mean you'll act strange."
She shook her head at my childish complain and streched my phone towards me. I glanced at the screen where luke was spamming me with messages. Mother fucker won't let me live in peace!

"I'm not acting strangly. Look at me
I'm all fine"
I scoffed while taking the phone from her and calling back luke.

"I can see that"
She just shrugged and went off to her bedroom. Just as she exited I turned back to my laptop, this time leaving everything back and entering in the CCTV camera of agency.
"Ara, can you come over?"
Luke spoke after picking up. My fingers rapidly typed something just as I spoke

"Don't fucking tell me you are clubbing and want me to join. If that is so then I am busy"
He signed. That indicates it's something really important. But from the CCTV camera I couldn't see any of them in the agency.

"I'll text the location, it's something important"
Before I could ask what is it. The line went off. I fumbled around the things which were spread on my working table. I hardly stay at my apartment and whenever I does. This fuckers would get everything important. Grabbing my car keys I made my way to the location luke just texted.

I stepped inside the house while taking a deep breath. Not knowing why my team is in a unknown house at midnight. What could be the emergency in this house.Just as I entered in the living room, the view shocked me. A lady in her 50's was crying while a man just the same age as the lady was holding her. Probably her husband. They looked broken, sad?
I glanced at Emily who was trying to console the crying women and hazel who was staring at everyone with bored eyes. A chuckle escaped from my lips because of the expression she had on her face.
Hazel was good behind the computer screens not infront of the people. While me and hazel were good at hacking skills, Emily was good at manipulating people and making them spit truth. Luke and Jeremy were the fighters of our group. We all were good with guns and knifes but wasn't trained enough in hand to hand combat like luke and Jeremy. I walked forward towards the sofa and took a seat shamelessly without bowing to the older couple. For that I received a glare from Emily but that was ignored.
"So? What was so important?"
Luke who was writing something in the reports looked up and heaved a sign of relief. They really were incomplete without me. Hazel spoke.

"Their daughter is missing"
I don't know why the hell we are here. Why? Isn't it for police to solve. I arched an eyebrow.
"Are we ordered to solve this and find their daughter?"
Again it was hazel who replied.

"Nope we weren't, luke thinks it's related to the case we are handling. Those girls were killed but this girl is missing. May be they took her, you know kidnapped"
I nodded while thinking. Luke and emily who took a short interview of the couple turned towards me and handed the report. I read it twice. The report clearly said that the cases are interlinked. This girl was a high schooler too and she was missing from yesterday night. She went out for night classes in college and wasn't back after that.
It was before 24 hours. When I asked her parents wheather they called her freinds to ask if she was staying over at their houses.
They replied they have called each and every person who knew their daughter but no one had any idea about her. I stood up from the sofa.
