24>𝘏𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘴

"what do you mean by 'he's going crazy'?" I removed my heels while staring at allysa who was casually sitting in living room. Emily and Jeremy were on their phones god knows doing what. Allysa glanced at the closed door of my room and I followed her gaze. I made it to them in a few seconds.

"Yesterday we took him here instead of sending him to the rescuing sector of J.M. But he locked himself and ain't coming out. I made him breakfast" It was 9am in the morning and we arrived at 3 am in night. It was pretty late and the fact that he haven't eaten yet worried me to the core. Emily kept a hand on my shoulder and reassured me.

"I'll check on him after a bath"
Three of them nodded and I walked into a spare room of our apartment. We had 4 rooms incase emily or other guys stays over. I took a quick shower and changed into my casual clothes. Allysa handed me a plate of pancakes and orange juice.

"It's your favourite so I assumed your brother would like it too"
I thanked her and knocked on the door. No response. I knocked again and yet no response. I was about to knock again but with a click the door was opened. Slowly I walked in. My room was just as clear as I left it, kriz sat in balcony, staring at nothing. I gently walked behind him and took a seat on the nearest chair. I assumed kriz took a bath already since he was wearing taehyung's clothes which allysa would have given to him. He was clean yet the bruised marks on his body made me want cut every hand who touched him. I took a piece of pancake with a spoon and extended it to his mouth. After a little hesitation he ate it.

"You are safe with me" he never spoke anything and I didn't forced him to. It may take him time to adapt to this life since from past 5 years he was living like that. I never knew kriz was alive, fuck or else I would have tore apart the whole world to get him and no one would have stopped me. I blinked back a few tears which threatened to fall free.
"Ara, w-why did you never came searching for me?" I kept back the plate on the glass table and stared outside. My balcony had a nice view of the city since it was on 6th floor.
I collected my words and replied to him. He may not know about our parents death, I'll have to explain everything patiently.

"I never knew you were alive till this time, Mom-" I sucked in a breath to control every emotion inside me. That's what I did all these years.

"Mom, dad. They were murdered five years ago. The doctor told me they found another body and it might be you. From that day, I made my mind to make that person regret who ruined our lives. I'm still on that mission. I swear kriz, I-I never knew you were alive or else I would have tore apart the whole world just to save you from those people"
His expression weren't any different from earlier. Still blank. I could understand him completely, after a little while he spoke up.

"They kidnapped me when I was returning back from school, I thought it would be for money and father will eventually save me. B-but
when for 2 years no one came to rescue me I lost every hope. T-they slapped me whenever I stuttered or cried. He broke into tears before completing his sentence. I moved forward and enveloped him in a tight hug, running gentle hands on his back.For the rest 15 minutes he just cried and I let him. It would have been so hard I couldn't even imagine at this moment. When he consoled himself I told him to rest and I'll be back.
The first thing I did after coming out of his room was calling jimin. I just needed his presence at this point. Others have already gone for their works since I told them to.

"Are you okay?"
He spoke after picking up, I slumped in my living room's couch.
"Not really" Jimin stayed silent for awhile, only the sound of his breaths heard from the other side
