I stood there while leaning on a tree trunk, the empty park was filled with silence and me, the only source of light was the moon in sky, dimly lightning the park. I took a look at my wrist watch. It's been damn 10 minutes already. Just then I saw her walking from the entrance of park with her shoulder length hair swaying in passing breeze. I admitted it was cold outside and I shouldn't have called her at the midnight but I couldn't stop myself.
Ara stopped infront of me while I darted my gaze at the moon.
Moon wasn't something I loved hell I thought it was just a piece of rock who blended in daylight and came up in dark. Coward.

"Staring at the moon, huh?"
Her voice striked in my heart, warming it all over again. There was something about Ara kennly that always got me. I never felt like staying in someone's presence unless it was for my own benefit but with her I just wanted to keep her by my side no matter how harmful she is. I wanted to give her everything she deserved even if that meant losing myself. I shook the weird thoughts away and replied to her earlier question.

"Don't you think the moon is beautiful?"
Ara tilted her chin up and stared at moon, the light reflecting on her face making her shine in the darkness. Inky black eyes, thin eyelashes with full lush lips, she was perfect in every way.

"It is" Her response dragged me out of my thoughts and we walked further in the park. I took her hand and shoved it in my pocket while ignoring her glare. No matter how much she denied I knew she loved my attention as much as I loved hers. Ara would never reveal her weakness to anyone but I wanted to see her on her worst days. For the rest 20 minutes it was quite between us as we walked around the park silently. From the corner of my eyes I saw her struggling to walk any further because of sleepiness.

"Are you sleepy?' She shook her head despite her eyes were barely open, I chuckled and took her in my arms. A loud scream escaped from her mouth. "Jimin, I can walk"
I ignored her protest and walked towards her apartment, My car was still in the parking lot of her apartment since I left it there. I glanced down at her sleeping figure when her protest died down, her body was relaxed and gentle breaths were fanning my neck, few strands of hair were fallen on her face. The site made my heart flutter all over again, she looked more pretty like this, in my arms. The urge to take her in my apartment was high but I didn't since she won't appreciate that in morning. I slowly laid her on the guest room bed of their apartment and walked out of there quickly.

I half listened to my secretory rambling shit about I don't know some event and half focused on the message on my phone.

'Call me when you are free- Ara'

"Sir, many higher buisness men are attending this event, it's a golden chance to expand our buisnes-"
Her words were left incomplete when I sat in my car and drove away. I called Ara and kept the phone on speaker.

"Hello jimin" I hummed at her voice and asked what she wanted from me, Ara would never call someone without any reasons, specially me.
"Actually, for my investigation I want you to take me to the rescuing sector where all the victims are held"

I stopped on red light and thought about her words. It was for investigation and I had no rights to say no. I agreed with her deal and drove towards her apartment since she said she wanted to visit now and I was free. I parked my car infront of her apartment and took the lift to sixth floor. A man in full black with a mask stood near me, his choice of clothes and the way he held his head low so no one can get the sight of him was weird. I ignored him and pressed the door bell of Ara's apartment.

Surprisingly Luke opened the door instead of Ara and invited me in. I sometimes felt jealous of Luke and Jeremy since they knew Ara from a long time and she trusted them with her whole life. I was jealous of every thing or person who got to see her.

"Are you sure you want to come?"
Ara spoke to her brother, kriz. He wasn't fully okay yet but some progress was seen according to his therapy and yoga sessions. She had tight security around him and no one could keep a foot around him.
Emily and hazel smiled at me while jeremy just blankly stared like he wasn't happy seeing me here. I very well knew luke and Jeremy doesn't like me so much, they think I'm harmful for Ara and I won't deny that.

"Jimin, let's go" I shook myself out of my thoughts and nodded at her, kriz was joining us too. He said he wanted to meet the victims and see if they're okay. The car ride was quite and comfortable. No one spoke Anything. I stopped my car infront two huge gates which opened when the guard saw me, I slowly drived in the path which was covered with grass from the both sides, I parked my car on my usual spot and got out. Followed by me Ara and kriz closed their sides of doors too, Her eyes were taking every inch of the secure sector in.
It wasn't a sector, It looked like a village, so many little houses, shops, schools, and work places.
I had made it this way for the saved victims who doesn't have any family. They're too traumatized to live in the real world. The people could stay here, work, study and they'll be checked by therepist every here and there to maintain their mental health. The whole village was covered with extra security and guards.

"I never knew you would be this good to spent your money in this"
I smiled and guided her towards few ladies who were giggling while watering the plants.

"You don't know anything about me, butterfly" She threw a glance at my side but her body was facing kriz who just ran forward to hug someone. The five girls looked up at kriz and smiled, tears burning in their eyes. Kriz was just 2 years younger than Ara, 22. He wasn't a kid for sure but he's been with those bastards for atleast 5 years so he needed to be treated as a kid.

"Viv, I missed you" The girl in blue angle length gown smiled and reassured him. Ara kept on watching with unreadable expression on her face. I inched closer to her and interlinked our fingers.

"I'm okay" She said after a little pause but I ignored. Her eyes landed on specific girl who was ruffling kriz's hair and they were all giggling. She took few steps towards her.

"Excuse me, hana" Hana looked at Ara with confusion but still nodded.
"I have a few question for you, if you are comfortable to answer"
Hana nervously glanced at kriz who reassuringly nodded and hana went somewhere else with Ara by her side. I wandered around to see the victims laughing and enjoying their life after getting through so much, just then a few kids ran to me with their playing ball.

"You never came to meet me fake daddy" I looked up at a specific girl around 8, she glared at me with her freinds telling her to not glare at me like that. I sat on my knees and took her in my arms.

"Hmm, sorry sarah" Sarah pouted at my apology and then giggled when I rolled her in air. Time passed with the kids and others whom I recognised. Only my team was allowed to enter here accept the staff, doctors and security guards.
We were back infront Ara's apartment and kriz went up. She still sat in my car like she owned it.

"Want to go somewhere?" Ara shook her head and kept her eyes closed. I took her presence in, black baggy clothes with black combat boots. Hair opened up with no specific hair style.

"How long it will take to find the original person behind this warehouse shit" her voice was hoarse with tension. I messaged my temple, while rolling my shoulders back. The lack of sleep from past few days had got into me well. I assumed Ara noticed my tension, she got out of my car.

"Just go and get some damn rest"
I threw a lazy smile and went out from there, leaving her behind with her own thoughts.
