Kennedy Rayne Kline has just been given the chance of a lifetime, using her skills in photography to explore the vast terrain of the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. She's hired to take pictures of nature and wildlife in the area for a magazine featuring unexplained decline in their animal population.
The longer she stays venturing the land, the more suspicious things become. But the culprit is far from global warming or disease like they expected.
About a week into her six month travel, she discovers an unrecorded village of people living deep in the mountains, surviving by coming together as a group, much as you would see packs of animals doing. Thinking she might have a secondary story in the making, she approaches the group only to find they might be the culprit she was looking for all along and a possible love interest who just won't leave her alone.
Too bad life is never as simple as it you'd hope; there's always people trying to destroy you.

This is my second story in the making. As always, write your own work- this ones all mine ;)
