Tuesday 3:27PM London (Two weeks after Liam is released from the hospital)

Liam was laying his back on the couch flipping through a magazine while Niall sat on the floor in front of him his back resting on the side of the couch his guitar resting in this lap. Liam let out a sigh as he had done so many times these past weeks when he was bored. Niall continued to play his guitar and ignored the sigh. Liam tried again sighing even bigger this time.

"Alright, I give. What's wrong?" Niall said with a smile on his face as he laid his head back onto the couch and looked up at Liam.

"Do you think it's weird that Dani hasn't called me yet?" Liam asked.

"What? No Liam you got to let her go, she broke up with you remember!" Niall said for the trillionth time. He rolled his eyes and turned his focus back to his guitar.

"I know! I just think it’s weird that she never even called me to ask if I was alright after the hospital. What if she didn't know I was there?" Liam asked with a little panic in his voice.

"Would that change anything mate? I mean you guys broke up, maybe she figures that doesn't mean she has to take care of you anymore." Niall said, his back still turned away from Liam's face.

He still hadn't told him that Dani had come to visit him in the hospital, hadn't told him that she hoped to work it out between them hadn't told him that it had been him to kick her out of Liam's room. It really wasn't his place to interfere but for some reason every time he tried to tell Liam he couldn't get the words out.

"It just seems off. Should I call her?" Liam asked Niall.

"Exactly how would that conversation go mate? Um hi Dani, just wondering did you know I was in the hospital? Oh you did? So you not coming to see me or call me is just you breaking up with me? Oh okay great, just wanted to check that we're on the same page. Awesome, well good chat, bye."

After the imaginary phone call ended Liam grabbed the pillow he was resting on and smashed it over Niall's head. Bouncing off the ground, Niall grabbed another pillow and retaliated at Liam.

The two of them swung their pillows at each other blow for blow. Liam smiled at the sound of Niall's laugh, it was contagious. Niall gently tackled Liam back on to the couch, careful not to hurt his still sore ribs. Laughing Liam fell on his back allowing Niall to win the fight.

Niall propped his elbows up beside Liam as they both snuggled into comfortable positions on the couch. Liam folded his arms behind his head as a pillow and Niall rested his head on Liam's open chest. They lay silent for a few minutes as Liam caught his breath.

"You alright?" Niall asked pulling his head up to see Liam's. Liam smiled at his concern.

"Never better Ni." He said still gazing into his blue eyes.

Niall felt a familiar pull at the base of his stomach. He was so close to Liam, could smell the lemon still on his breath from the tea he had earlier. He allowed his body to fill into the crevasses of Liam's, felt Liam shudder for only a moment then relax at the weight of Niall against his body.

Looking back into Liam's deep brown eyes he felt himself shift closer to Liam's face, their noses now touching. Not sure what it was but for some reason he felt safe, he watched Liam bite his own lip.

Smiling Liam moved his arms from behind his head and wrapped them across Niall's back. Niall felt the warmth radiate from his fingertips and into his back, felt the soft pull of his shirt as Liam methodically moved his hands up and down his back. Their eyes locked and Niall felt his lips ache for someone to touch them.
