“Oh babe! Look at those!” Perrie said cheerfully with her nose pressed up against a London shop window. Zayn stopped walking directing his attention to the interior of the shop. His eyes fell on a tiny pink onesie that read “Daddy’s Little Rockstar!” Zayn chuckled smiling at the small outfit. He scanned the rest of the window taking in all the other clothes as his eyes landed on another, this time blue, with the words “Mommy’s Biggest Fan!”
“How about that one?” Zayn asked pointing towards the blue one drawing Perrie’s attention to it.
“Oh! How cute is that!” Perrie gawked through the window. Zayn grabbed her hand pulling her towards the door of the shop.
“Well then let’s go get them!” Zayn said pushing the door open leading her into the room.
The shop was mostly abandoned except for that of a few women. Zayn wandered between the isles with Perrie laughing as they pulled off dozens of outfits from the shelves.
“Hi, I’m Anna. Is there anything I can help you with?” The young woman from the shop asked.
“Um hi. Yes, we were looking at the onesies in the window, are those for sale?” Perrie asked.
“Um yea they are! We just got those in from our shipment yesterday.” Anna said walking over to a shelf they hadn’t visited yet. Zayn and Perrie followed her. “Here they are... Are you Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards?” Anna blurted out.
Both Zayn and Perrie hesitated caught off guard, “Oh my gosh I am so sorry, I shouldn’t have asked!” Anna said quickly trying to recover from her outburst. Zayn smiled shaking his head, “It’s okay, honestly. Yes I’m Zayn, this is Perrie. It’s nice to meet you Anna.” Perrie smiled shaking her hand. Anna blushed but regained herself.
“Well if you need anything else…”
“Actually yes, we’ll take these!” Perrie told her grabbing the two onesis from the window. Anna shook her head as she led them over to the cash register. "Do you have a pen?" Perrie asked.
"Umm yes, here." Anna said handing over her pen.
Perrie scribbled on the back of her receipt before sliding it across the counter to Zayn. Zayn took up the pen and signed his name to the back.
"Here you go Anna. Thanks for everything." Zayn said smiling as he handed her the receipt.
They paid and thanked her for her service as they left the shop.
The clouds had formed and the rain had begun to fall. Zayn unzipped his hoodie pulling it over his and Perrie’s head like an umbrella. They walked down the street wrapped arm and arm talking and laughing with each other.
“I can’t wait to marry you.” Zayn said randomly, his eyes locked on hers. She looked up at him from under their makeshift umbrella and smiled.
“Well then why wait?”
“What?” Zayn asked.
“Let’s get married today!” Perrie said.
“Really? You sure that’s what you want?” Zayn asked wiping the falling rain off his nose.
Perrie smiled wiping away the wet strands of hair uncovered by Zayn’s sweater, she smiled as he held her tight under his arms with a sideways smile on his lips. He leaned down pressing his lips to hers, their bodies tightly locked as the rain trickled down between their lips.
“Oi! Get out of the middle of the street!”
The sound of the car horn broke them apart as they realized they were stopped in the middle of the lane properly drenched in their wet clothes. Zayn smiled waving the guy passed as the he turned his attention back to Perrie.
