"MACAQUE?" Macaque used his shadow to cover Mk's mouth.
"Don't be so loud," he said, letting go of the shadow. Mk nodded and apologized. "So what are you doing here, and how did you find me?"
"Okay, cut the questions, kid," Macaque said, with a stern look on his face. "What's your relationship with Wukong?" he demanded, pulling out his shadow staff and pointing it menacingly at Mk.
"Uhm, I'm his successor," he replied, placing one finger on the staff and lowering it down.
Macaque raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised by Mk's revelation. "His successor, you say?" he asked skeptically.
Macaque pointed towards Mk's bed, making him sit. "Right now, you're going to explain everything from start to end about what happened between me and Wukong.""What? What do you mean?" Mk said, avoiding his gaze.
"I don't know if you know, but I'm called the Six-Eared Macaque, and when you have six ears, you can hear everything." Mk realized that Macaque had eavesdropped on their conversations with Wukong.
"I don't think you should be asking me. The person you should be asking is Monkey King," Mk said.
Macaque had an annoyed look on his face. "You're his successor, so you know he is stubborn and keeps things to himself all the time." Mk agreed with that since Wukong usually deals with his problems by himself and doesn't want anyone to get involved.
"What happened between me and Wukong?"
"What...Peach would never leave me and betray me for some human, right?" Macaque said. His chest hurt, the person he cherished and loved the most killed him because of a Buddha?
"Peach must have been controlled by him...THERE NO WAY HE WOULD LEAVE ME FOR A DAMN HUMAN!" Mk flinched a bit at the sudden yelling. "He promised we would live together on Mount Huaguo...he promised me."Macaque was angry. He clenched his hands, a tear was shed from his eyes. Mk patted Macaque on the back. "It's all in the past now, and I think Wukong might have regretted it." Mk had a reassuring smile on his face. Macaque remembered hearing Wukong apologizing over and over again. Maybe Mk was not wrong. "He's no longer the old Wukong that you know. He's different now. So please don't change the way you feel about him now because of what he did."
Mk was right. Because right now, even though all the betrayal happened, the Macaque right now didn't experience it. It was getting late. Macaque had gotten his answers now, and it was time for him to take his leave. Mk asked, "Wait, does that mean you don't have amnesia anymore?"
"Mk, I might know what I forgot, but that doesn't mean I have remembered it." Right before Macaque was about to drop down to his shadow and disappeared, "By the way, you should really get some new bandages for your head." Mk said. Macaque touched his head, and there was blood on it. "Oh, yeah, thanks." And he was gone.
Now he was back home. He looked around, and it was still quiet. He slowly walked towards the couch, sat down, and rested his back. "Peach..." Macaque didn't want to think about the memories he no longer remembers, at least for now. "Maybe it's better if I don't ever remember." Macaque didn't want to feel that pain. "Heh, I wonder how my future had put up with it." He sighed.
Macaque began feeling dizzy. He had forgotten about the injury that was on his head, and the amount of blood that leaked through Macaque caused him to lose consciousness.
(Another dream cause I like it)
Two similar-looking monkeys were laying down next to each other under a tree staring up into the sky. "Look Mihou, a shooting star!" Wukong pointed toward the shooting star, "Quick make a wish!" As they both close their eyes and wish
"What did you wish for?" Wukong asked, turning to look at Macaque. His beautiful black fur glimmered through the night. "I wish you never left me to die...''"Huh?" Macaque's head slowly turned towards Wukong, and Wukong saw Macaque's lifeless body. Lying there with blood coming out from one eye, a hole that was pierced by his staff. Wukong's eyes widened with fear. He shut them tight, not wanting to see the horrifying sight in front of him. Memories flooded his head as he opened his eyes to the sound of rain. In front of him stood a version of himself from the past, facing Macaque. Macaque was on his knees, his clothes torn and cut all over his body. He stared at the scene, blood dripping down Macaque's clothes creating a bloodstream.
"MACAQUE!!" Wukong tried to run toward Macaque but found himself paralyzed. His heart was racing, his chest felt tight. He wanted to help Macaque, to save him from the torment he was experiencing, but he was powerless. Eventually, Wukong turned to leave, his job now finished. Macaque pleaded with Wukong not to leave him. "PLEASE, PEACH, I'M SORRY! I JUST WANTED YOU TO COME BACK TO ME!" But Wukong still departed. As he left, thunder and lightning began to rumble, growing louder by the second. Wukong saw the heartbroken monkey, bawling his eyes out and on the verge of death, tormented by the loud sounds of the storm. Macaque's sensitive ears couldn't take it - he was screaming in pain and tears were running down his face. Eventually, the screaming stopped. Then came a thud, followed by only the sound of rain and lightning. Wukong watched as Macaque slowly closed his eyes, chuckling, "I love you..." His heart dropped as he realized what he had done.
The rain continued to pour, and the lightning continued to strike. The rain continued to pour, and the lightning continued to strike. Wukong remained there, watching over Macaque's lifeless body. He was heartbroken, filled with regret and guilt. He wished he could go back in time and change the events that led to Macaque's death. But it was too late now, and all he could do was mourn the loss of his beloved. As he stood there, lost in his thoughts, he felt himself drifting away. His surroundings began to blur, and he felt like he was being pulled into a dark abyss. Suddenly, a faint voice called out to him. "Peach," it said. "Peach!" The voice grew louder and clearer. "PEACH!!Wukong was jolted awake by a splash of water on his face. He sat up quickly, disoriented, and looked around. To his relief, he realized that he was in his room and everything was just a dream. Macaque was next to him, holding a bucket with a worried expression on his face. Shadow and Rumble were also there, looking equally concerned. Macaque bandage was a messed but it looked like it didn't bother him.
Macaque dropped the bucket and rushed to Wukong's side, embracing him tightly. He was relieved Wukong had finally woken up. After a few moments, Macaque went to grab a towel for Wukong and head to the restroom. However, Wukong grabbed Macaque's arm and pulled him back for another hug. Resting his head on Macaque's shoulder, he asked, "Can we stay like this for a bit?" Though Macaque was taken aback by the sudden hug, he smiled and hugged Wukong back. "Of course," he replied warmly. Rumble and Shadow also joined in on the hugged. They stood like that for a while as the sun start to slowly rise.
