Mk Pov:

I watched intently as Macaque descended into his shadow, flanked by two adorable little monkeys. Monkey King looked a bit disappointed as he watches Macaque leave. I couldn't help but feel a sense of intrigue and curiosity at the unfolding events. As Monkey King brought his attention back toward the 3 demons on the floor, his eyes pierced into their souls as he stood with his arms crossed, looking quite intimidating. "Explain what the hell you guys mean by 'I thought you took care of everything after you decided to throw shit at that black monkey," he demanded in a firm and assertive tone, leaving no room for ambiguity.

I didn't want to be part of this, so I just prayed that they wouldn't get caught lying and left them with Monkey King, who seemed to be handling the situation with his usual aplomb. I went inside his house to look for food, as I was feeling quite famished. As I walked into the house and closed the door, I was surprised to see someone sitting on the couch. "MACAQUE-" I exclaimed, but he quickly shushed me with his shadow, indicating that I should be more discreet. "Seriously, you need to greet people better," he scolded, releasing his shadow. "Oh sorry, but what are you doing in here? I thought you left," I asked him, feeling a bit perplexed.

"Where do you expect me to go? This is my home," he said, his voice tinged with defiance. I sat down next to him on the couch. Two cute shadow monkeys appeared out of nowhere, jumping onto my lap. "Awhh, what are their names?" I asked, feeling a sense of warmth and affection toward the furry creatures. "That's Savage, and that's Rumble," he said, slurping the noodle he had been eating. I patted them gently, admiring their soft fur and playful demeanor.

As we sat there, an awkward silence hung in the air, broken only by the sound of Macaque slurping up his noodles. I wondered what was going through his mind, what thoughts were occupying his head. Was he thinking maybe Monkey King? Or was he simply enjoying the taste of his noodles? It was impossible to tell. For a while, he continued eating in silence. The only sounds were the clinking of chopsticks against bowls and the occasional slurp. But then, Macaque suddenly turned to me, his eyes soften. "Kid, do you think there's a way where I can regain my memories again," he asked, his voice low and serious. I was taken back by the sudden question. "What? Why?" Macaque turn back, his eyes fixed on his noodles. I sigh then rested my hand on his shoulder, "If that what you want, then I'll find a way. But you do know that the future you and Monkey King have a not so good relationship right?" Not sure if that was the right thing to say, seeing the pain in Macaque's eye, "I love him but If Wukong doesn't want me, I can't force him. Wasn't it my selfishness that cause him to leave me in the first place?" "No no, it was just a misunderstanding between you two, I'm sure Monkey King also want to be with you again, but is just too scared to maybe admit those feeling." "You really are good kid Mk, I'm glad Wukong have someone like you." Macaque then continued to finish his noodle. "These are good," he said, finishing the bowl. "Thanks, I made them," I said, feeling a sense of pride. Macaque looked even more surprised, "Woah, the Monkey King's successor also knows how to cook? You should teach Wukong," he joked, and we both laughed.

Then the door open, it was Monkey Kind. "Hey Mk, sorry for taking a while." He froze when he saw Macaque. "Macaque?" "Oh hey Peach." Macaque said, giving Monkey King a smile. His face also seemed to have lightened up. Then he got up and walked up to Monkey King, giving him a hug. I could see the shocked look on Monkey King's face, and it was kind of funny seeing that reaction. I gave him a thumbs up, and he also hugged back.

Back at the shop, I found Mr. Tang, Piggy, and Sandy. Piggy was cleaning the dishes, while Mr. Tang was eating the noodles for free as usual. Sandy was grooming Mo, and I settled down next to them. "Hey, Mk, you're back early today," Tang said, looking up from his bowl. "Oh yea, me and Macaque had a little talk" I said. "What did you guys talk about?" Tang asked. "He said he want to remember everything again but I'm not sure how." "Oh?" Piggy popped out from the back of the kitchen. "That reminds me of the time when Monkey King forgot his memories," he said. "What, when? How come I don't remember?" I asked, feeling a little confused.

"Oh yeah, it was when we got separated looking for the samadhi ring," Tang said, about to finish his noodle. "Really? What happened?" I asked, my curiosity piqued. "Monkey King was still asleep, and we tried to wake him up, but he wouldn't budge. Then Piggy had an idea. He made Monkey King eat a pepper, and when he woke up, he didn't remember us. He thought we were his old friends," Tang said.

"Wait, so how did he regain his memories in the end?" I asked, feeling a sense of anticipation. "Tang had an amazing idea. He thought dropping a big rock on his head would work," Piggy said, taking the bowl of noodles from Tang. "And it did," Tang said, looking proud of himself.

Perhaps dropping something big enough on Macaque that doesn't kill him, it could help him regain his memories too, I thought to myself. However, I couldn't help but still worried if Macaque and Monkey King's relationship to revert to their old ways. Piggy seemed to read my mind and asked, "Are you planning on doing the same?" I hesitated for a moment before replying, "Well, if it works, it could potentially bring them back to their old relationship." Which mean that Monkey King and Macaque would start seeing each other as enemies again. I felt uncertain about what to do. Tang then spoke up. "If right now Monkey King and Macaque no longer see each other as enemies now, why risk it by bringing Macaque's memories back." "It what Macaque's want." I smiled then left.

(I am so sorry for the delay I actually had no idea what to write for this part, it took even longer cause I rewrote it at least 3 times and rush it in the end AND I'm still not sure with this.)
