Appearance
Rubia is a humanoid with a red body. Her chest resembles a ribcage and her legs are fleshy and end in sharp points (like an arthropod's legs). She has four arms. Her face is similar to Red's, but she is smiling instead of frowning. She has two spiraling braid-like horns on her head.

In the story
Rubia does not appear in person up until the battle against her in Finality. Although, she does leave little hints that indicate her existence before the encounter with her:
• The creepy text on the wall in the writing level in Depredation was written by her.
• All of the non-organic enemies are created by her.
• She is the one enhancing/corrupting creatures and causing them to turn red.
She also lead Ascentia into a battle with Qilin and Mobius into the heart level. She wanted Ascentia and Qilin to be weakened so that Sephiroth can absorb them and Mobius to be corrupted by the blood within the heart, which was created by her.
She created the password screen riddles to both mess with Anna and to give her a chance for a fair battle between them, as she enjoys teasing the player and finds the whole situation amusing.
This also explains why she burst out laughing after defeating all of Anna's characters. Although, her laughter didn't last for long as Ishtar's spear of judgment pierced her chest, causing her to scream out in pain.
The weakened Rubia was finished off by Ishtar, thus ending Red's sinister legacy.

Additional Information
• Rubia is Red's sister.
• Rubia has major differences from Red:
-Red is a shapeshifter, while Rubia has only one form.
-Red is frowning, while Rubia is smiling.
-Red seems determined to kill Zachary, while Rubia finds the situation amusing and enjoys messing with Anna. Avenging Red seems to be her secondary goal.
-Red appears often and leaves obvious hints of his presence, while Rubia doesn't appear up until Sephiroth's defeat and leaves subtle hints of her presence.
-Red can directly affect the player, such as when he paralyzed Zachary, but is weaker in-game, while Rubia cannot directly affect the player (or doesn't want to), but is extremely strong in-game. This is visible when Red defeated 4 playable characters with normal power levels, while Rubia defeated 11 overpowered playable characters (with the exception of Rita, who is very weak).
• Rubia found the situation amusing up until she was stabbed by Ishtar, which is when she understood how serious this situation was and screamed out in fear and agony.
• Rubia left tributes to Red in certain parts of the game, for example:
-Endora, whose face is identical to Red's;
-The inductor coil brontosaurus and phone monster, who had faces similar to Red's, and the coffee spider, who was overall similar to Red (also a demonic-looking arthropod with a human-like face).
• Rubia was originally supposed to have dark red hair in a bob hairstyle identical to the Citizens' hairstyles, but this was replaced with the aforementioned horns.
• Rubia and Sephiroth aren't a master and a servant: Rubia considers Sephiroth an equal, and they are masterminds working together and helping each other.
• Rubia did not create Sephiroth or the organic enemies.
• When Rubia takes a heavy hit, she screams in pain and is stunned.
