"Hermione do something! Fred's not moving."
Said George desperately. "Fred this isn't funny! Okay, you've got me. Great joke"

"George there's...there's a lot of magic out there, but...nothing strong enough to bring someone back from the dead." She sighed. "Come on, George." She said, looking down at George clutching Fred's shirt. She sighed. There was one spell, but it was extremely dangerous.

"Just...there's one thing, but it's dangerous and I'm not sure if I can do it, I've only ever read about it." She said.

"Anything, Hermione." George begged.

"Okay, George. I need you to stand aside now." She said.

George got to his feet and she knelt beside him. She spoke some unfamiliar words and a purple light came out of her wand. She leant down and kissed him as purple light wrapped around her like string. She knew the consequences of what she was doing. but she had to save him.

Suddenly, Fred opened his eyes and Hermione was cast backwards, pain tearing right through her chest and shoulders and stomach.

George ran after her. "Hey, are you alright?" He asked, helping her up. "Yeah, I..." she could barely move.

"Georgie?" Called Fred's voice from the distance.

"Oh my god, Granger you've done it." George said, tearfully. "Granger?" He asked.

Hermione was losing consciousness. "George that was seriously dark magic I used, you can't tell anyone I used it." She mumbled.

"I won't." He said.

Fred rushed over to him. "What? You're okay now?" Asked George, baffled. He hugged his twin.

"What happened, Georgie?" Fred asked.

"Granger worked some sort of miracle on you, but...she's really hurt. I think it backfired a bit and now she won't wake up."

"Take her to pomfrey." Fred said. "Meanwhile, we've got a dark lord to defeat and a war to win."

Hermione stirred. She was in hospital. It smelt clean and the scent of sanitiser stung her nostrils. She was extremely confused.

She was hooked up to some tubes and wires and her whole body ached.

"Ah miss Granger, you're awake. Mr Weasley is here to see you." A nurse said.

"Fred?" She asked.

"Guess again." Said George, walking into the hospital room.

"That was some seriously nasty magic you were hit with, miss Granger. Do you remember what happened?"   Asked the nurse.

"Um...no..." she said.

"Alright well I'll give you some time together," said the nurse, winking and exiting the room.

"Wanna tell me what happened?" Asked George when they were alone.

Hermione sighed. "You can't tell anybody, not even Fred because that'll make things worse." She said.

"Alright but whatever it was out you in some sort of deep sleep. You've been in here a week." George said.

"A week?" She said, sitting up, doubling back in pain.

"Don't try and sit up. Just tell me." Said George, anxiously.

"Well, I used a soul spell, George." She said, quietly.

"And what's that when it's at home?" He asked.

"It's a little bit like the unbreakable vow. First of all, you should know that I have feelings for Fred."
