Chasing After You - Woosan

-Chapter 16-

Wooyoung pov.

I squirmed around and kicked me feet trying to get the man to let go of me. I recognised the man's voice as the mysterious man called Hoongjoong that I have had a not so fateful encounter with before.

"Drop your weapon boy" I felt a cold metal get put to my head and San's sharp intake of breath. He let his gun fall to the ground putting his hands up in surrender. I could only suspect the Hoongjoong guy was holding a gun to my head, I felt the panic building up inside of me.

"let him go." I could hear the anger in San's voice as he stared holes through Hoongjoong's body. Hoongjoong just chuckled tightening his grip on me "I don't think so. he's coming with me" as he said that some other men appeared out of nowhere surrounding San .

I felt a sinking feeling in my stomach as Hoongjoong dragged away from San. But what was i supposed to do? Hoongjoong held me too tight for me to be able to reach my pocket knife, so i could do nothing but let him drag me away while looking at San's desperate face.

The last thing I see is San's shocked face before there is a pain in the side of my head and everything goes black.

Slowly opening my eyes I get met by the light from a lamp shining straight into my face, making me close my eyes again. I suddenly realise I'm not on my bed. Someone is carrying me over their shoulder. wait, someone is carrying me over their shoulder?! I start kicking my legs and hitting the persons back with my fists.

"You little-" thud. I made contact with the ground hitting my hip on something hard. "Ouch" I hiss. I look up at the man "Sooo maybe you could let me go" I say fluttering my eyelashes, getting confidence out of nowhere.

I can see how annoyed his "No."he simply says, following me with his eyes when I stand up "Ohh why notttt" I whine not sounding as confident as I wanted. Well I shouldn't just still waiting for San to save me so lets see how this goes.

"Because the captain said not to." his voice is still monotone. "Oh well" I shrug as I start walking in the direction I think we came from, but the man has other plans and grabs me by the shirt "You ain't going nowhere" he throws me to the ground again, but I quickly sit up.

"Captain told me not to kill you but you're getting real annoying" his voice dripping with frustration, as he takes up a gun. I swallow trying not to just panic and run away.

I think he notices my panic "Exactly now keep quiet and obey" he put away the gun. I just sat there hoping that San might come save me and that he was okay.

I saw the man pull out a phone, clicking the screen sometimes. He walked away a little bit from me, putting the phone to his ear.

"Hey, mind sending one more here?" ........ "The boy is annoying"........ "If you want the boy in one piece send another man here!" the last part he half screamed seeming even more annoyed after the  call. hopefully they sent another man because I would rather not get hurt.

He shot me a glance "The fuck you looking at?!" he spat making me flinch. "Nothing I- just" I stuttered backing away a little as he was walking towards me. "Shut it kiddo" he stopped in front of me.

"Okay-" I got interrupted by the burning pain erupting in the side of my face "I said shut it, I don't want to hear a word" I was fighting back the tears as I held the side of my face with my hand, trying to numb the pain somehow.

Not so far away..

San pov.

Seonghwa has casually been passing by and seen me needing help, so that's how I managed to get away from the mysterious men and now me and Seonghwa were on our way to find Wooyoung, sprinting through the forest.

I abruptly stopped running as I heard a man talk in the distance. Seonghwa stopped a bit in front of me"Why-". "Shhhh-" I cut him off "Listen".

We ducked down making sure not to be seen if it was the man who got Wooyoung. "He's talking about keeping a boy in one piece and sending another man here" Seonghwa whispered, damn sometimes I wish I got as good hearing as him.

We slowly walked closer, now I could hear the man's harsh voice much clearer. Seonghwa put his hand on my arm "Please don't do anything impulsive" I just nodded. 

"The fuck you looking at?!" the man angrily said to poor Wooyoung. How the fuck dared he speak to him like that?! "Nothing I- just" I could hear the panic in his voice. Seonghwa shot me a glance probably worried I was gonna do something unplanned.

Something snapped inside of me when the man's hand collided with Wooyoung's face. I froze at my spot before running towards the man, Seonghwa reaching out trying to stop me.

The man somehow didn't hear me coming as he didn't even notice me when I knocked him in the back of the head with my elbow. The man muttered a faint "Fuck-" before falling to the ground.

When I turned around to look at Wooyoung he wasn't on the ground anymore. He threw himself on me wrapping his arms around me. "Are you okay Woo?" maybe too concerned for my own good. "Better now that you're here!" he half laughed even tho I could feel my shirt getting wet which meant that he was crying.

"Not so fast love birds" the unfamiliar voice made me turn my head sharply. A man, probably associated with the one who held Wooyoung captured was standing not so far away with a gun to Seonghwa's head.

"Hand the boy over" the man pointed at Wooyoung which made him hug me tighter. Before I was able to say anything Seonghwa blurted out "Take me instead let them go" was he for real? I looked at Seonghwa trying to figure out what the fuck he was planning to do.

"Hmmm" the man hummed, "No please Seonghwa don't-" Wooyoung tried but Seonghwa just shook his head. The man laughed "Alright I'll take you, because it seems like your friends will miss you" he lowered the gun, but he still had a tight grip on Seonghwa. Wooyoung nuzzled into my chest as I hugged him a little tighter.

What was I supposed to do?
