Chasing After You - Woosan

-Chapter 6-

San pov.

I jumped up some buildings before stopping to turn around and look at how Wooyoung was doing.

Maybe I had been a little bit too rude but i had too. It was dangerous outside of the safe houses if you didn't know how to defend yourself and Wooyoung clearly didn't know how to do that. After all, we had to save him two times and i didn't want him to get hurt or infected.

I headed back to the high rise building I shared with Seonghwa and Jongho. I tried walking back down to my room but i got stopped by Seonghwa. "Sooo who really is this boy and what was he doing in the city?" I sighed "He is too curious and he has zero self-preservation" I tried walking away but Seonghwa grabbed my wrist "What did you say to him? I hope you didn't say anything too mean to him" he shook his head "I wasn't that mean plus it's for his own best" I explained and he finally let go of my wrist and i went down to my room. I really needed some sleep.

For some reason i couldn't fall asleep, i kept thinking of Wooyoung. Was I too harsh? I really don't know.

I ended up writing "Sorry I was rude, did you make it back fine??" on a piece of paper and "too wooyoung" on top of it. After that I took all of my gear and put it on. I snuck through Seonghwas room making it up to the roof without waking him up. I put the piece of paper in my pocket before I carefully made my way over to the safe house I had only ever seen at a distance.

I ended up climbing up in the watch tower and putting the paper there on one of the chairs. Just as I was running away I saw someone in the distance, that made me speed up. luckily i got into the city before I saw who the person was. I better not get close to the safe house again.

Wooyoung pov.

I woke from a loud noice. "what was that?" I murmured. "WAKE UPPPP YOU TWO SLEEPY HEADS" Yunho half screamed, so I assume the loud noice was him throwing the door open. "Yeah Yeah calm down, we are awake" Yeosang said getting up from his bed. "especially after that.." I muttered, also getting up from my bed.

"Get down for breakfast, otherwise JYP will be maaaad" yunho added before closinng the door. "Huh, JYP?" I looked at Yeosang. "Yeah it's a nickname for Jin-young" He explained. "Oh okay" it actually didn't sound that bad, might as well start using it.

I put on some pants and a hoodie and headed down to breakfast together with Yeosang. "At least none of you are late for breakfast for once" jyp chuckled. I just rolled my eyes and took my seat. The food was as usual bread with out anything to have on.

After breakfast we were gonna go up to the watch tower to keep Mingi and Yunho company. "Are you coming as well yeo?" I looked back at him. "No I think i'm gonna get some rest" He answered as he went towards our room. I just nodded and went with Yuhno and Mingi.

We walked outside and I took a deep breath in, fresh air. Yunho climbed up the ladder first then me and Mingi.

"Ooooo what's this?!?" Yuhno shrieked as he picked up a paper piece that had been laying on one of the chairs. "It staaaands- huh? Too Wooyoung" he said shocked before handing the paper piece to me. what is this? "Come on woo! open it!!" Mingi exclaimed matching his boyfriends excited energy. "Alright calm down" I sighed, unfolding the piece of paper. I read the text written in black ink. Sorry I was rude, did you make it back fine?? I smile and I feel my face heat up. I know exactly who wrote the note. "OMG what does it stand,why are you blushinggggg?!" Yunho jumps up and down trying to read what's written. "None of your business" I say walking over to the huge window, watching the landscape I had seen so many times.

"Why lover boy? is there someone you like??" Yunho wiggles his eyebrows teasing me. "Yunho let him be, he obviously doesn't want to talk about it" Mingi sighs calming his boyfriend. "Fine" Yunho dramatically scoffs.

The rest of the time we spend talking about basically everything. We also only saw a few zombies passing by from time to time some stopping to inspect the fence or walls. We were up there until lunch when we finally headed down to eat something because i was absolutely starving.

We were not really on time for lunch so jyp gave us a glare. "What's for lunch?" as soon as Mingi asked Nayeon and Aisha exited the kitchen with silverware and a big pot of some stew or soup. "It's mushroom stew thanks to Mingyu and Jessi finding some mushrooms when they were out hunting" Nayeon smiled while Aisha put out spoons to everyone. We all started eating and it was actually really tasty "mmmh it's really good" jyp complimented. "Thanks" Aisha and Nayeon said together.

"I actually have really important news" jyp clarified standing up. I stopped eating and looked up at jyp like evrybody else. what could he want? wait- he doesn't know about me sneaking out right? I looked over at Yeosang and he shrugged.

"Is everybody listening?" He looked around. I nodded, nervous about what "news" he was gonna tell us. "It's bad news" He sighed. "The neighbouring safe house has reported seeing someone unknown close to our safe house." I froze, he didn't mean San did he? " We suspect that it was a solo" he continues.

I just sat there, tf did San get caught? or maybe someone just saw him? The lunch ended pretty quickly after his announcement and everybody went back to doing the things they did before except i went up to my room and not to the watch tower.

I was met by a Yeosang sitting on the bed. "Is he the reason you sneak out??" he stared at me. "Who?" shit he is onto something "Yeah the solo jyp was talking about, is he the reason you sneak out?" this was not good "What? I mean not re-" I didn't get to finish my sentence as he cut me off with "Don't trust him." "the fuck? you know nothing!" I was very irritated now, like I have free will, he can't control me.

After our little argument we didn't talk so much and the days went past. Every day was more boring than the other. Yunho and Mingi tried to understand why me and Yeosang was ignoring each other. Everything went on until one day.

"GUYS WAKE UP THEY CAUGHT SOMEONE NOT SO FAR FROM THE SAFE HOUSE!" Yunho screamed slamming our door open not giving us a second to wake up. "Whaat..? I murmured still half asleep. "I think it's a solo!" Yunho excitedly jumped up and down. At the word "solo" my body felt fully awake and i sat up in my bed. "WHAT?!" now it was my turn to scream. yeosang only sighed.

We all headed downstairs as fast as i had put on some clothes. When we got down to the dining room nobody was there. "maybe they are in the basement?" Yeosang said. I had never really been down in the basement before as there were only cells down there, which would make perfect sense if everybody was down there right now.

I ran before my friends to the basement because I had to know if it was San they had caught. I skipped some steps in the staircase and I also nearly fell but i managed not to. When I got down I saw everybody else standing crowded around one cell with jin-young in the middle, probably questioning the person in the cell.

I went up to them and tried seeing who the person in the cell was "come wooyoung you have to see this" Jisung whispered to me dragging me around to the other side where i got a clear view of who it was.

"Oh no"
