Chasing After You - Woosan

-Chapter 33-

Wooyoung pov.

It was night and we were walking through the dark forest and for once I actually felt scared. We had no light and were completely navigating by the help of Seonghwa and Jongho's good vision in the dark.

There was a short scream and I quickly reached over to grab Seonghwa out of reflex because I used to do that with San when we were out..

But to my unpleasant surprise Seonghwa was no longer besides me "Seonghwa?" I whisper screamed, panicking a little. "What?" he answered back which made me feel reliefed. "What happened? who scream?" I question looking around myself trying to see something in the dark.

"There was just a zombie" Jongho said and i could hear how unbothered he sounded. "Yeah that almost killed me!" Yeosang said loudly. "Guys stop screaming legit!" Mingi shushed them. "Wow says you" Yunho murmured earning him a huff from his boyfriend.

"Let's just continue and keep it down, we are close to his base" Seonghwa sighed and I could hear him next to me again. "Okay" i said quietly and followed after him.

It was easy to notice when we were close because it suddenly became much brighter since he had half working lamps spread out around the base.

"Okay we are here" Seonghwa sighed before quickly turning around and slashing a zombie that launched at him out of nowhere. "As I was saying, please act normal and I'll do the talking, okay?" he frowned not seeming happy to visit this place.

"Watch out Jongho!" Yeosang suddenly screamed which made me turn around pretty quickly and as i had guessed there was a zombie about a meter from away jongho. It was so dark we couldn't see the zombies until they got very close but at least the light from the nearby base made us see a little better.

"Fuck" Jongho murmured as he rather quickly dodged the zombie and then killing it. 

"Shhh" Seonghwa hushed us and we watched him intently waiting for him to say something. "There are more of them" he whispered. We kept watching him as he pushed his sword into the dark and when he pulled it back there was an impaled zombie on the sword. 

The view made me gasp, it was so bloody but it also made me realise that we were in danger and that the zombies got the upper hand in this situation because we couldn't see very well in the dark.

Seonghwa quickly pulled the zombie of the sword and looked into the dark. "are there any more?" Yunho quietly whispered but at that exact moment the moon appeared from behind the clouds and lighting up our surroundings.

"You can bet your ass off there are" Seonghwa swore to himself as my eyes widened of shock, there was a lot of zombies surrounding us. "I hope you know how to kill" Jongho smirked seeming totally unbothered as he started slaughtering zombies. Which also alerted the zombies around us making them attack.

I dodged a zombie that launched towards me and i tried attacking it with the small knife I had brought which to my surprise went well and i actually managed to strike the zombie in its head.

It really surprised me how easy Jongho and Seonghwa made it look, killing all those zombies while I was struggling with just dodging them.

"Watch out Yeosang!" Jongho warned and moved behind him to kill a zombie that was about to take a bit out of Yeosang's neck. He pushed it to the ground and impaled its head with his sword.

"Oh thank you-" he seemed shocked from the sudden attack. "If you don't stay closer to me you'll probably die you know" Jongho sighed and attacked another zombie.

I actually managed to kill some more zombies. San would be proud. No I cant think about him right now I have to focus.

A sudden voice interrupted my thoughts and I froze, Who was that? but it didn't seem like I was the only one who heard the voice because everyone else had stopped moving, even Seonghwa.

"Why are you guys so noisy?" I directly recognised the voice. "Hongjoong? Fuck you scared the shit out of me" Seonghwa said relieved probably worried that it would be someone else.

"Oh how lovely to see you Seonghwa, never thought you would visit me first" Hongjoong smirked and came out from the dark so we could see him. "I'm not here to visit you" Seonghwa scowled. "Oh then what are you doing here darling" he went up to Seonghwa.

"Uhm not to interrupt your flirting but uh- where did all the zombies go, that were here like two seconds ago?" Mingi questioned. "We're not flirting!" Seonghwa seemed shocked that he would assume such a thing. "Oh don't worry about them, my helpers took care of them" Hongjoong lightly chuckled at Seonghwa's response making him roll his eyes.

"Anyways" Seonghwa huffed and we all waited for him to actually say why we were here. "Just get to the point" Jongho sighed. 

Seonghwa glared at him a little before continuing "We're here because we kinda need your help with something" he murmured the last part.

"Hmm alright, well maybe we should go inside first, it's a little cold " Hongjoong gestured for us to follow him.

"Does Seonghwa know this guy because he doesn't really seem trustworthy, something's off" Yeosang whispered as he walked beside me. "As much as I know i think they've only met once or twice, but it seems like it's more than that" I shrugged in response. Yeosang just nodded and kept on following Hongjoong.
