Chapter 39

San pov.

the last thing i remember is shielding Wooyoung from the guard coming at us and then the agonising pain....

I slowly opened my eyes to the sound of three voices.... "Yeah I found them trying to fight off zombies" I recognise Hongjoong's voice, "Why did they run away in the first place?" jongho questioned. "They got scared after Z mentioned one thing about Solos" Seonghwa sighed. "So keep an eye on Yunho and Mingi" Hongjoong added.

"Oh San you're awake!" Seonghwa moved over to my side and I looked at him weekly. "Where's...?" my throat is dry making it an effort to talk. "Wooyoung?" Seonghwa finished for me and I gave him a small nod. I hope he's okay..

"He's in the other room with Yeosang" Seonghwa smiles weekly at me. I tried sitting up but there's a stabbing pain at the side of my waist making me fall back into the bed again, "ahhh" I quietly hiss at the pain.

"You should be more worried about your own wounds at the moment" Seonghwa looks at me concerned. I sigh but then remember we were just at Z's base, "Where are we?" I force out with a cough.

"Jongho could you go get a glass of water?" Seonghwa says quickly before turning back to me, "We're at a nearby safe house" he explains and I nod "Mind explaining everything and what happened after I got.." I motion down toward the wound in my waist.

He looks confused at first and the blurts "Oh yeah, sure! uhm...

(Seonghwa pov.)

While the guards were so busy listening to Z ramble I managed to free myself from the rope that was around my wrists. Hongjoong was planning to try and kill Z while Wooyoung freed San but he needed me to keep the guards away.

As Hongjoong ran towards Z i started knocking down the guards around me with ease. I watched as a startled Z got pushed down to the floor by Hongjoong. At the same time as Wooyoung quickly ran over to San I spotted Jongho on the other side of the room, Oh? I has almost forgot about him.

Remembering the mission I quickly look over at Hongjoong again, he gained a lot of advantage having the element of surprise, but Z is tough and I can see that Hongjoong is struggling a bit more now.

Z manages to free himself from Hongjoong and run towards his throne pressing a button and an alarm goes off. Shit-

I fight of some more guards and as I dodge one sword another guard takes the opportunity to go at me, I wince in pain as the word slices a deep wound in my arm.

Hongjoong who's back at beating Z glances over at me as he hears me wince. No no no- don't come to me, focus on the mission-

Hongjoong throws Z down onto the floor and rushes over to me. I put pressure with my free hand on the wound to try and stop the bleeding.

Hongjoong comes to my side and starts helping me fight off the guards. "Why r u here and not at Z! That wasn't the plan!" I hiss.

Hongjoong doesn't even glance over at me "I have my priorities" he says flatly killing the last guards around us. I say nothing more and look over to see how it's going for Wooyoung and it seems that they have gotten one of the chains of, I also spot Yeosang helping him.

suddenly a bunch of guards rush into the room and I quickly look around, where the fuck did Z go?? shit this is not good-

I finally spot Z acoss the room, who's pushing a guard towards Wooyoung- I have no time to scream at him as the guards launches towards Wooyoungs back. San throws wooyoung behind him and my eyes go wide as the guards knife impale San.

The rest is a short story, we quickly fight off some guards, get San and Wooyoung who has been knocked out and fight our way out of there.

Somehow we managed to get rid of the guards who were following us throw the woods. Mingi carrying Wooyoung and Jongho carrying San.

San nods slowly as I finish explaning. He tries sitting up again but he groans in pain. "Maybe it's better if you rest-" I cringe feeling a bit bad for him.

"No I wanna see Wooyoung-" San tries again huffing through the pain and finally manages to sit up with the support of his arms.

"Wait I'll go check on him so maybe he can come here instead-" I stand up and motion for him to lay down again, cause if i wa him I wouldn't want that wound to start bleeding again.

Wooyoung pov.

My head was pounding. Considering I hit my head so hard i got knocked out it's not weird that my head is hurting, but one things that's not helping is Yunho right now. For som reason he is not shutting up about the whole thing 'solos are dangerous and trying to kill us' 

"Please Yunho...can't you let me rest for two seconds.." I put my hand before my eyes and sigh. He finally goes quiet for a second- "I would but you're not listening to m-"

A sudden knock on the door stops him from finishing the sentence. Seonghwa walks in without further notice and stares at Yunho, before glancing at me.

"How are you feeling now Wooyoung?" He leans against wall as Yunho side eyes him. "A little better than earlier but still shit" I sigh again.

He smiles apologetically "I was wondering if u at least feel fine enough to go see San" he say. "Omg yes" I say maybe a bit too excited as Yunho glares at me but MIngi simply puts a hand on his shoulder and he stops.

"Well what are you waiting for?" Seonghwa smiles at me and turns toward the door. I sit up a bit too quickly as my head starts to spin, but it feels like nothing when I'm about gonna see San.

When I stand up I am a bit more carefull because it would be embarassing to fall.

I limp after Seonghwa because for some reason my ankle started to hurt or maybe I stood up to fast, I'm not sure but it doesn't matter.

As Seonghwa opens the door for me and I walk in, Jongho and Hongjoong leaving me alone with San...
