Chapter 39

San pov.

the last thing i remember is shielding Wooyoung from the guard coming at us and then the agonising pain....

I slowly opened my eyes to the sound of three voices.... "Yeah I found them trying to fight off zombies" I recognise Hongjoong's voice, "Why did they run away in the first place?" jongho questioned. "They got scared after Z mentioned one thing about Solos" Seonghwa sighed. "So keep an eye on Yunho and Mingi" Hongjoong added.

"Oh San you're awake!" Seonghwa moved over to my side and I looked at him weekly. "Where's...?" my throat is dry making it an effort to talk. "Wooyoung?" Seonghwa finished for me and I gave him a small nod. I hope he's okay..

"He's in the other room with Yeosang" Seonghwa smiles weekly at me. I tried sitting up but there's a stabbing pain at the side of my waist making me fall back into the bed again, "ahhh" I quietly hiss at the pain.

"You should be more worried about your own wounds at the moment" Seonghwa looks at me concerned. I sigh but then remember we were just at Z's base, "Where are we?" I force out with a cough.

"Jongho could you go get a glass of water?" Seonghwa says quickly before turning back to me, "We're at a nearby safe house" he explains and I nod "Mind explaining everything and what happened after I got.." I motion down toward the wound in my waist.

He looks confused at first and the blurts "Oh yeah, sure! uhm...

(Seonghwa pov.)

While the guards were so busy listening to Z ramble I managed to free myself from the rope that was around my wrists. Hongjoong was planning to try and kill Z while Wooyoung freed San but he needed me to keep the guards away.

As Hongjoong ran towards Z i started knocking down the guards around me with ease. I watched as a startled Z got pushed down to the floor by Hongjoong. At the same time as Wooyoung quickly ran over to San I spotted Jongho on the other side of the room, Oh? I has almost forgot about him.

Remembering the mission I quickly look over at Hongjoong again, he gained a lot of advantage having the element of surprise, but Z is tough and I can see that Hongjoong is struggling a bit more now.

Z manages to free himself from Hongjoong and run towards his throne pressing a button and an alarm goes off. Shit-

I fight of some more guards and as I dodge one sword another guard takes the opportunity to go at me, I wince in pain as the word slices a deep wound in my arm.

Hongjoong who's back at beating Z glances over at me as he hears me wince. No no no- don't come to me, focus on the mission-

Hongjoong throws Z down onto the floor and rushes over to me. I put pressure with my free hand on the wound to try and stop the bleeding.

Hongjoong comes to my side and starts helping me fight off the guards. "Why r u here and not at Z! That wasn't the plan!" I hiss.

Hongjoong doesn't even glance over at me "I have my priorities" he says flatly killing the last guards around us. I say nothing more and look over to see how it's going for Wooyoung and it seems that they have gotten one of the chains of, I also spit Yeosang helping him.
